rangeman i cudnt agree more but everytime i as a player walk into pvp i find a few "certain players" who instantly abuse me because im level 10...

I have decided in the post "twinks" to make an alt that is not level 10 just to prove a point twinks are as easily beaten as they are as easy to lose against.

So clamm as i know that it is you behind all this and im more than intelligent enough to work out who you are i hope to see you in PvP again on any of your chars so i can kick can prove my point again.

and after looking at your gear to find that some of it is stil lvl 24 at lvl 30 you have no right to complain about losing when u go into PvP with what ever items you find with multicoloured writing thinking ur gonna win...

There is no secrets to pvp in my opinion only experience, and of course skill... and if you really want to get specific the gear you use and how you use it.

If a lvl 10 or 12 are not 'twinks' then how do you explain the fact that a lvl 10 or lvl 12 can't even get a rainbo item on their own?

You have to be lvl 15 to even get a rainbo drop, so how, if you are not a 'twink' can you get a full suit of rainbo items?

You go get a lvl 12 archer from 1-12, farm a boss a few times with close to the same level of group mates, and see how you do at pvp.

As far as I understand, at lvl 10 you get purple drops, and at lvl 15 you get rainbo drops. How can a lvl 12 have all rainbo items if they are not, by definition, a twink?

If you think it is your so called skill that makes you win a pvp fight, then by all means, get from lvl 1-12, use your own dropped gear, or gear that was dropped by a group member within your level range, and we will see how you perform.

As far as those who say a lvl 10 with all rainbos is the same as a lvl 100 with all rainbos, you are mistaken.

Where would a level 10 get all rainbo items if they are only level 10? Oh, a higher level farmed a boss for them? Is that how a level 100 gets rainbos?

A level 100 gets rainbos as they level, and as they run out of levels, they accumulate gear. A level 10 gets rainbos by some other means. The two are not the same.

Yes, a level 10 with all lvl 10 rainbos, a level 20 with all level 20 rainbos, or even a lvl 70 with all level 70 rainbo items, are equal. However, the means in which they aquire the items are not the same.

The point I am trying to make, is not weather or not twinking, or this so called 'pure' is good or bad. The point is that it is unfair. For a level 10 or 12 to have a full suit of rainbo items, it creates an unfair advantage over someone who plays the game in a way in which it was designed.

Over this week end I will try to make my own 'pure' or 'twink' suit. However, I will try to be helpful to people who ask me questions, and I will not skunk anyone if I have an unfair advantage.

This is very ironic. You can't understand where I am coming from, and I can't understand how you can't understand.

As a 'pure' or 'twink' you have a full suit of almost all rainbos and maybe a purple or two if it suits your needs.

A standard player who doesn't farm rainbos with two accounts, and 3-4 disconnected players has maybe one or two rainbos and the rest purples and yellows.

How is that fair?

How is a lvl 10 with a full suit of rainbos fair against a level 10 with yellow/purple gear? Please explain where you don't see the unfair advantage a full suit of same level gear gives you.

I have nearlly a full rb outfit and have probs spent more than ur whole play time total farming for them.... So dont tell me its unfair just go farm bosses instead of runnin regular dungeons as a twink im not open to anything more than you especially boss farming i merley have a PvE account which i will delete when im completley set up for PvP and that will not be for quiet some time...

if its unfair go out and get ur self an rb outfit because im lvl 10 doesnt mean they just magically appear in my bank and aret he right lvl and give what i want...

Perhaps what you're really upset is that people can trade equipment for what they need.. isn't that the whole point of the market channel, soulbound timeframe, and new trade UI? Making the deal is up to two parties. Is there a rule that says that a rainbow cannot be traded for a purple? No, there is not. Further, there are great players out there that gift equipment away. World 7 members do it all the time. Friends help friends.

Grouping everyone together and saying that everyone accumilates gear and experience the same way is rather funny in itself, as there are other methods to get equipment.

Regardless of the method, it is all allowable within the game, and has been for some time.

PvE and PvP are seperate games. It is well documented in (official and unofficial) user guides that a smart method of play is to make seperate characters for each game. It is laughable to say that it is unfair for players actually go into the game with knowledge and preparedness.

Try searching Google to do research on PvP strategies. You may be amazed.

I STILL dont understand why people complain about twinks. If they are so easy to make then GO MAKE ONE, stop complaining about it. Geez, its available to everyone!

The problem is people are getting beat by these low lvls and complain, but get smoked by 100s and say "thats ok they are 100". Bottomline, you got beat by someone better geared then you (I'll give benefit of doubt and assume you are equally skilled). If you want to PvP on your casual PvE character with purps/yellows several levels below expect to lose.

I never have made a "Twink", and I never will , but from what I have seen/heard, making a "Twink" is harder than getting gear for a lvl 100....

think , as a lvl 100 every rainbow u get as a drop u can use wether you choose to or not u can.

Me being a lvl 10 i get drops from lvl 10 - 17.

So i can use 1 ou of 7 rbs i get and then the chances of that rb being something i need? minimal.

But by restricting my self to only lvl 10 rbs that gets rid of the bad side of PvP being that using gear lower lvl kills ur chances at PvP thats why people belive twinks have an unfair advantage.

That is all false. Farming lvl 10 rbws is simple with a semi high lvl character and a 2nd client. Farming lvl 100's is way harder. Takes about a minute to farm abby on solo in you quick and good. In that same span you could of killed a low lvl boss 3 times and be on insane.

You obvious have no clue about farming lvl 100 rainbows. Only thing that helps being lvl 100s is other lvl 100s willing to trade with ya or give to you. In about a 4 hour farming session with abby in a group you will possible get one AWESOME rbw and most of the times its not for your class.

Why people don't make twinks is cause everyone can make them, takes 2-3 days of constant farming and you will have 90% of rbws. You might be missen an iring or 2 but other then that you will have every rbw you want.

Unless you have a lvl 100 and do indeed farm for lvl 100 rbws don't speak on what you dont know. With the increase hardness on abby its a pita to farm lvl 100 rbws.

Xorekle, I have to say that farming for 100's is much easier than farming for a "Twink". My dad is a lvl 100, and he gets 1-3 rainbows a day, and gives me any spare rainbows he doesnt need. You have to factor in what RR said, you get to a certain lvl and STOP there, so that makes it harder than farming for 100's who dont have to worry about lvling and outdating their gear.

I believe I am a level 100 too, I got a Twink too, and I agree for a 110% that farming level 100 rainbows is far way easier then farming for specific levels, like my lvl 17.

The reason behind that, partly comes from the 2 levels above and 5 levels behind your own level item drops. A level 100 can get 95 to 102, while a lvl 15 can get from lvl 10 to lvl 17. On average that means that a Level 100 has More chance of getting a rainbow for their own level then a level 15.

Are you all insane? farming t3 rbws or even t1 is harder then farming lvl 17 gear. Case closed. Farming for lvl 100 rbws as we talking solo is harder then farming for twinks in every aspect. Or even farming lvl 100 rbws in a group in that matter.

Sure we could use lvl 95 rbws and up but who and why would you use them?? Same could be said using a lvl 15 rbw for your lvl 17.

LR obviously you dont know how to low lvl farm to well as i learned from somebody who i cant mention her name and I am sure you know who i am talking about who is prolly the best at low lvl farming. Anyone with a brain and 2 hours to kill can speed up farming for "twinks" roughly 75%.

If it would please you all I will even show you how easy it is as I will make a lvl 10 fighter and by friday it will be all decked out in rbws. Now I would like a lvl 100 with zero rbws in one class to farm for that class in that same span. I bet any amount of money my twink will be BY FAR more superior with rbws then your lvl 100. As superior I am talking about rbws and equipment. Without getting any rbws from friends or mules.

Clamm best at farming? Dream on, times have changed, I left the hope of getting my best friend back, and within that time Many players became better then her, for her level 100 as well as her twink. Guess again and give yourself a free shot, Ill just catch the bullet and throw it back.

So any 100 takers on you farming for 2 days and I will farm a low lvl twink and we will compare rbws???

Rangermanguy where did it say in my post that I was going to be playing with the twink if I did make one to prove a point? I would just make one and in 2 days time be atleast 90% fully geared. In that same 2 days a lvl 100 could maybe maybe at best be 50% if nobody gave them rbws or helped them.

But, Ill play ball with you on the debate. First off, lets say all twinks admitted to you today that it is SO much easier to make a competitive twink than a competitive L100. Would this please you? Would you stop whining? What would this accomplish in the grand scheme of things. There will still be twinks.
You are on some tangent about how easy twinks are. There is no way in hell in 2 days you would have 75% of suitable L10 RBs. So let me go on mine now...

I have been farming probably 2 weeks worth of playtime, so that spans well over a month. I have the perfect system to farm as others know so I am not gimping my droprate at all. One example, lets say I wanted a L10 Fighter. In 350+ Rbs I have farmed I have produced about 20 Solid Fighter L10 RBs.
You can see them in signature. (Traded off extra Wake & Boot of Quartz). As you can see from the list there are still some gaps left to produce a full out twink, many of the items overlap same slots (ie weapons) & some are lackluster. And even though I have a scarab ring/dialed in I would really want 2 The Lost One rings. But Id have to settle because its so hard to get what I want. Now, I could trade but you said you would get 75%(90% in one post) of your RBs in 2 days by yourself. You'd have to be luckiest man alive. Even if you did get an RB for 75% of your slots which is a feat in itself they arent all ideal or practical.

LR has the right idea. He made his on the other end of the spectrum @ level 17 so he can "settle" on a L15 RB until he got his L17 version. But this is exactly the same for a L100 as you have stated. BUT, while you can equip sub L100 items you also can wear L102 stuff where he cant wear L19 gear. I dont get what your motive for this whole topic is anyway, are you against making of twinks b/c how easy to farm or b/c of PvP threat? If its impact on PvP, a L100 doesnt have to have full RBs to still win because some of their skills are overwhelming to a lower level. Fear of Gosh Rank 5/BSOL Rank 6 anyone? Also, modifiers such as stun resistance (some pieces have 25%+ on them), attack speed, critcial chance , etc are so much greater and rightly so. So, this forces twinks to be VERY reliant on specific gear choices to optimize performance b/c their skills are so limited & weak. Just any L10 RB will not do.

The "hardest" part of making the perfect decked out L10 is seeing an amazing piece you have been waiting to drop for weeks say "Level 11". But you are right in one regard, farming for twinks is easier from start to finish when it comes to the preperation. Getting to L100 to farm vs getting 4 L15 alts and a 30+ takes considerably more time. BUT once you start talking about actual farming, twinking is just as hard and full of more frustration in my opinion.

farming for twinks you have one out of 4 chances for a rbw to drop which is all yours, cause all the members in the group are you. Farming for lvl 100 you will be either be solo doing normal or formiable and it will take you a minute at best to kill. By the time a lvl 100 is done and checked the chests (if they choose to), i could of killed a low lvl boss mob 4-6 times in that same span with the chance of 4 members getting a rainbow. Am I the only one that sees this logic?

Again, what point are you trying to prove from all of this anyway?
Ok, I admit it, getting RBs for a twink is so much easier!
