Insane diff just gives you a higher amount (%) of loot, but not a higher % drop of each KIND of loot (i.e. rbws, etc). So you have a better general chance of getting a rbw from one run than you do vs. a "normal" diff run. HOWEVER, if an Insane diff run takes you 3 times longer to go through than a normal/formidable run on the same boss, then you actually have a better consistent chance of getting a rbw by running that boss on lower diff and doing it 9 times compared to doing it on insane and running it 3 times - statistically speaking. Now, this changes a little when youre in a group bc loot % changes exponentially and chars can be of varying levels(and truthfully, I do my farming runs on insane also 90% of the time too, lol) but thats just a mathematical way to look at the ideas of % of/kind of drops. Kind of like going to the casino and playing the $1 slots 10 times, and winning 2 times out of 10 - versus playing the quarter slot 40 times, and winning 8 times. The payout can be variable, but the chance of getting "jackpot" is essentially the same. |

I have found a few. Oddly enough, they have been while I am just running through SC or SissRat as fast as I can on Normal just to get exp. It seems that when I am TRYING to get rainbos, IE: put it on insane, fill my group with a bunch of players, looking for rainbos, I hardly ever find them. From my own experience, I agree with the poster above me. I would rather farm a boss 10 times on normal, than 3 times on insane. The only problem I have is that they are usually for 5 levels BELOW my current level, so I don't need them, or else they are for the wrong type of build, so I don't want them. Out of about 10-15 rainbos, I have actually used 1 or 2 in my build. |

My first RB Item was from Sissirat.. Crows Feeder 11.4. <3 But anyways, I totally disagree.. I would rather kill Sissirat on insane.. First of all, he's easy.. And you can kill him fast anyways.. Now, Algor on the otherhand... He's not so easy to kill on Insane. x_x;. Especially with all those heros around him.. Lol. |

I know what I see in Snarky's viewer may not be applicable for when you tackled them. Your attributes are spread out too evenly - I would re-spec, focusing on one or two of them. You have no ring of fire - ring of fire is excellent for SC and his buddies. You also have zero ice resistance (I don't mean the spell.) That should make it a bit harder. WELL! yeah, they are pretty much random. my best luck is farming bosses/relic runs. bosses always drop gud lewt and opening chests from relic runs can get you rainbows too :] then use the KC's from the relics to waste on sam till you get a RB :]. |

I got 3 Rainbow Items as of yesterday, within Stage 1 of the Death Penalty Dungeon and this was only on formidable, so imaging it on insane... |

One night I got 6 in about 6 hours of playing down in stage 2 or 3, next day I logged in and got one right away. After that I've barely got any down there so as the previous poster said, its all relative. |
