as many many many many ppl have complained about the search engine
-why not spec it to search for 'in last year' by default instead of a week ?

tho im sure some ppl like to complain to pad their postcount
-otherwise wouldnt they just pass on the waste of time it is
-to use the same complaint over an over an over an over an over...again ?

just a thought

i suggested this a while ago. never got any response. apparently the dev's have no say in the way the forum is designed (according to this particular someone) which i find to be a load of BS. I'm sure they are quite capable of emailing the people who run the forum (who i think would just ignore us if we asked them directly) and asking for it to be changed to the maximum time. that's the way most search engines work. they start with the whole lot, and then you can narrow down by the length of time

aaww thats kinda sad...

enhanced formats can really juice up forums

oh well
