Anyone else have problems with elevation?

If I shoot at a monster that is at a different elevation than me, I never hit.  I have to shift myself until I am at the same elevation before I hit.  Basically my arrows fly parallel to the "ground".  |

check the players faq under general discussion on how to most effectively utilise attacks and targeting systems as they stand now. your problem is most likely the one listed there. it's not long, and it's a good way to learn very useful tidbits about the game, you might otherwise not happen to hear about until much later. -------------------- The FAQ-Read it! This is a known issue with ranger targeting: 1) If you shift-fire then you fire on a horizontal plane only. 2) If you fire using auto-target (no shift key) then you can fire on an angle using your normal attack. 3) If you use Noxious Shot, you fire on a horizontal plane only, regardless of shift. |
