Mmm... suggestions!
#16365 - 02/28/07 11:12 AM |
Hiya! 1) I'd love to have an NPC to visit that switches the stats on two appropriate items. Example: A green cutlass and a yellow sledge hammer. The stats would switch so I could have the look of the cutlass with the better stats of the sledge hammer. Same thing with armor, when better looking armor sets come out I'd like to be able to have a full suit of crystal armor instead of mix-matched set of the best stuff I've found. 2) A reason to keep going with the same character Post 100th level. So far the only reason to keep playing the same 100th character is to grind equipment and gold. I suggest a 1 stat point award for continually earning an experience amount equal to 99 to 100. Or some appropriate amount. This helps reduce the "character Death" of reaching 100th... still alive and learning. Rewarding diligent old'timers. 3) An NPC that will take an item(focus) and three purple items. Destroying the three purple items to transform the (focus) item into a purple of the same item type. Reasoning behind this is to maintain favorite items while leveling. Instead of selling them off, a member may simply upgrate thier favorite weapon/armor. Of course the stats on the transformed (focus) item will be like a random drop...so the member will have to do it several times to get the stats they like. Maybe usefull with rainbows to keep that unique look. 4) Friendly Competition Dungeons. A dungeon with two or more separate starting locations each with parallel rooms closed off by forcefields linked with the creatures in the room, like the forcefield at the beginning of the Widow's lair. Who has a better character build? Well, we can find out by competing in this dungeon, who ever reaches the end first while fighting identical level appropriate creatures, must have a good thing going. An announcement of the winner of the challenge over WorldChat would be fun.5) Buff Potions! Rare drop potions that give odd and or useful buffs. Essense of Ratling! That poison DOT cloud around poison ratlings. It followed me home, can I keep it?! A potion that summons a hatchling to fight by your side for a few minutes. Meterosexual potion: Switches your character's gender for a short while. Tabisco sauce! Fire resistance buff (purposeful misspelling) Blue bison Energy Drink! Weapon speed buff Liquid Schwartz! +20% magic damage Prune Juice! Time delayed Run speed buff! Solar Steamer! No effect Green potion! Poison! Well, the bank guy warned you not to drink green potions. 6) While experimenting with the Ice Bolt ability. I noticed that yes.. it does reduce the attack speed of creatures. This unforntunatly also doubles and triples the critical hits of the creatures because they're moving so slowly. In essence... increasing thier damage output. Now this is a great skill to kite stuff with, but I suggest a strength debuff instead of an attack speed debuff(critical hit buff). 7) When summonable creatures make thier way into the skill sets, I'd like to see creature auras for Mages. IE. aura of ice, fire, shadow for thier creature, similar to what the poison ratlings and some mutant pukers have. 8) Mana wall, a summonable ring that surrounds the caster preventing melee damage. Costs half of the caster's mana pool with a minimum cost. 9) BAMFF! A shadow skill that when active, teleports the character to a location away from its attacker upon taking damage. 10) Summon Wisp! This wisp follows the caster around and occassionally uses riteous stomp when creatures are near. Ugh, my brain hurts... and I'm all out of suggestions. <waves!> -------------------- Dungeon Runners Character Name: Hazelwood 85th Mage. |

On the idea of a temporary pet summon.. perhaps the pet's behavior will be random as well, ie: has a chance to be: -helpful and fight w/you -angry and fight against you -an over-achiever and go bring all of the opponents nearby right to you -stupid as can be, and just get in the way of your hits -lovable, but a hindrance and slows you down because it's busy sniffing your feet and rear-end |

I couldent help daydreaming about more potions. -Liquid Burocracy: Provides the thick-headed buff, stun resistance. -Contact lense solution: Uncovers fog from entire map. -Liquid antioxidants: Removes all debuffs and imbues immunity to debuffs for 15 seconds. -Essense of the Mother-inlaw: Provides a 10% block bonus for 200 seconds. -Trendy bottle of water: Removes 1,000 gold for your total. -You, Monster-bait! Puts player on hate list of all creatures in range, povides a 15 second 10% damage reflection. -Drink Me! +40% character size for 300 seconds. -The Red Pill: +100% bonus to weapon speed, hides weapons and armor so it looks like you're brawling. 200 seconds. I know Kung-Fu! -High Fructous corn syrup: +50% resting health and mana regen for 1000 seconds. -Blood of Hawking! +50 intelligence for 200 seconds. -EggCream: Heaven in a glass... to some. +5% divine damage for 200 seconds. Oh yaaaaahhh... so, we have that new stylish hat coming in the patch. Any possibility of cool shades? Cheap Sunglasses baby! Endlessly entertaining. <waves!> -------------------- Dungeon Runners Character Name: Hazelwood 85th Mage. Edited by Mr_Goondi (02/28/07 05:56 PM) |

id like to see funky pots too.. but you cant put a set price on them.. 1k gold is a lot to a lvl 10, but to lvl 50, its like double that of the health potion. should be based on lvl like the other pots. and should be exp not gradual. coz even if it was 4k a pop for me right now. it's still next to nothing. if it was 50k however... -------------------- The FAQ-Read it! But if they made really expensive pots that scale with level, what would stop a low-level player from buying at the low price, then trading (or giving) them to a high-level player (since the high level player will save money)? |

Hiya! Actually, I was suggesting that these potions be loot drop and semi-rare.. maybe a little more frequent than books. ![]() Ultra-super-Leet health elixer (tm): Functions the same as a standard non-member health potion. This is the Orock's attempt at marketing resale. They relabled discount bulk potions. Agrock's brow wax: Appart from making the user "wicked stylish" in the eyes of the Orock Community, This brow wax grants +3% to critical hit for 200 seconds. Bling bling! Produces the same visual effect as the run speed buff (forgot the name) Something hare, rabbit. 200 seconds. <waves!> -------------------- Dungeon Runners Character Name: Hazelwood 85th Mage. |

Maybe they can make some sort of alchemist class with those potion ideas. |
