Please report any behavior against the terms of service. We will ban offenders happily. Especially free ones.

Is it really necessary to further discriminate "free" players? I mean, honestly!

Dont forget that every free player is a potential meal ticket or referral. Taking little jabs at their expense may not be in your best interest.

I concur. With that last statement and with Lauranas request/thread in general.

adios,
biterman.

I learned to immediately ignore world when I popped in to visit the merchant and 'overheard' some fool telling another what he'd like to do to his mother. Unfortunately, I was too shocked and angry to think of anything but logging out to get that garbage off my screen.

indeed. you odnt want that sitting on your screen
i guess you can flood group chat (it works even when you're not grouped) to remove it once you're in ignore mode.

you should be able to permanently ignore it.

shame there's no ignorezone... coz ive seen osme pretty bad stuff in zone chat too

Though I have to admit... I've seen some of the most friendly chat and productive chat so far in this game... it can have it's moments. But like any other online game... you get all kinds of people, with all kinds of thoughts, opinions, and even some who like nothing more than to just ruin peoples days.

My BEST ADVICE... is to remember what "not" to talk about...
Religion
Politics
Race/Ethnicity
Abortion
Current Events *local/worldly*

Those I've found are huge issues that people tend to have strong opinions on... and will go at length to justify why their ideology on the issue is the "right" one. Technically yes, everyone is entitled to their own opinion... but please remember... you are PLAYING A GAME with a chat function so you can communicate to people IN GAME. Try to keep it ABOUT THE GAME. There are hundreds of thousands of "chat functions" regarding said issues above... if you feel the need to express them... use those channels to be PRODUCTIVE about your stance on the issues... not Dungeon Runners. People play games to have F U N! Rule of thumb... leave your issues at the door people. Put on your gaming gear, and go put Sissirats eye out. Your worldly issues will be there when you leave. So till then, have fun, cooperate with others, and try to enjoy. ^_^

The problem is that we all KNOW what and what not to talk about. Its the immature people who just dont care. They will start nasty converstaions without any help. You cant convince them to be civil or to shut up no matter how hard you try. In fact, it just adds fuel to the fire. The best advice still remains to NOT respond to any such nonsense and it will go away.

I know its hard to look the other way, but most times, its for the best. By all means, log out and clear the screen, then login to a different server.

Put every such offender on ignore and it makes life a lot easier. Good people shouldnt have to ignore the entire world, they should be able to enjoy and help one another.

We cannot control them, we can only control ourselves, so all your advice is purely, "singing to the choir".
