Agrock's Field
#15049 - 02/13/07 06:00 AM |
anyone know if there is a spawn timer in Agrock's boss room? most of the time, for kiting purposes, I clear the mobs in the perimeter before I pull Agrock. but every once in a while, I'll be happily kiting along and I'll run into a mob group that I will have already cleared. needless to say, bad times ensue. so is there a timer in there that I don't know about, or do they respawn randomly? -------------------- Athlon64 3000+, ATI X800Pro, WD Raptor 74GB, 1 GB Mushkin HP3200 2x512 , WinXP Pro SP2 |

You have to reset the instance to respawn them. Right Click your name and reset instance. -------------------- Sorry for my English, I am French ![]() |

in agrocks field, there are Several mobs, which i think are generated randomly, so often they have similar makeups. -------------------- The FAQ-Read it! Why isn't DR in beta? coz the Big Boss Man said so! Ivalaine - Lvl 50 Waynger |

Several mobs in Agrocks Field do respawn after you kill them. Seems to be by design. The only thing that stopped the respawns for me was killing Agrock the Invincible. |

Quote: I'm not sure if this is relevant to your question or not, but there are situations where monsters will respawn. To use your example of Agrocks Field, there is a simple way to demostrate how a respawn would occur. Lets say you were to battle around the edges of the map to avoid confronting Agrock and his buddies and happened to come across a few Oroks at opposite side of the map from the entrance. You manage to take out most of the baddies, including a hero Mystic, but one remaining Orok Biggun dealt you a fatal blow before you could finish the job. Now, since you have no waypoint up, your only recourse is to use the obelisk to start at the opening gate of Agrocks Field, the furthest distance from your lost battle. Since one Orok managed to survive, it is entirely possible that the whole group will be respawned and waiting for you when you return. If you kill all monsters within a pack, they will not respawn until the instance is reset. (Save for hatchlings and undead that are event spawns.) ![]() |

I too have noticed this, and it happens even if you do not die. I clear all 4 "wings" of the field before engaging Agrock. To ensure this, before I pull Agrock himself, I run a "lap" around the field once more, starting from my waypoint, moving counterclockwise, around teh edge of the field until I return back to my waypoint. Only then do I pull. And mid-pull, I'll sometimes actually SEE adds re-pop in one of the wings of the field. Very bad when you get Agrock down to 10%, and see him regen to full hp because 5 Orock Shamen repopped nearby and healed him. ![]() |
