well i found dugeon runners to be not as fun as most beta`s ive been in because your trying to get players to join by the lack of stuff.well it might work better if you opened the game totally up for a couple of days and or so many hours of gameplay for first timers.it might give them a better outlook on this game,instead of turn them off right away

i really couldnt get the feel of the game by the quests,equipment,magic and everything you get while playing this game or the lack of everything i should say....the same quests over and over again,the small inventory,not being able to use a real health poition...lol ....well dont take this personally but ive beta`ed and tested many games before but nothing quite like this...good luck,it was fun for the first half hour anyways.....cheers

btw ive crash 3 out of 3 times playing, all within the 1st 2 hrs of gameplay.no problems with any other games out there.just figured i would add that.how could i ever think about joining at this time with crashes and other types of problems?....good luck with your game.i hope you make millions

I have to agree with rugripper.

DR has that unfinished feel of a beta, even though it isnt. I think we can all agree that $5 is chump change, the point is that what you get for that $5, with the game in this state, really isnt worth it.

I loved the action when I first started playing, but it didnt take long for me to become very bored because of the lack of depth, and frustrated because of all the bugs.

The other problem I see is the continued delays on promised content. The only thing that wasnt delayed was the billing, which they delivered on-time. Imagine that! I honestly think they should have delivered some new content and bug fixes prior to turning on the billing. The major bugs should have been ironed out before you begin charging people to play the game. The email said it best...The people who are paying now, are nothing more than guinea pigs.

Im not picking on this game, but I have to be honest and call it like I see it. For a short-term romp, its great, but for mid and long-term, its not even close to good.

Maybe after I actually see new content, I will change my mind, and decide the game is worth the money, but for now, I will have to PASS.

I can understand the points that are being made against the game...but for crying out loud, it's a free game. If you don't want to pay the $5, then don't. I don't have a lot of play time, and at this juncture in my life I've got other things to spend my money on; however, there is no other FREE MMO that I've enjoyed as much anytime recently.

I don't have a big issue with not getting to use certain items, etc. I'll admit I'm jealous when I get an awesome item and can't use it, but I can deal with it.

Basically, I can't criticize something that I'm not paying for. I think others should feel the same. Are there problems? Yeah. Are there other games you might enjoy more? Yeah. Is this the best game ever? Probably not. Is it FREE? Yeah. Should I complain about something that's given to me? Of course not.

So if you don't want to play it, a lot of us can understand that. Just don't! If you want to keep it around for some time when you get bored with another game, it won't cost you anything. It's valid to bring up issues with the game that need to be worked out. The devs want that kind of feedback. Just be appreciative that you didn't have to pay anything to try it, and be nice!

Oh, you've absolutely got the right to state your opinion. I felt that Rugripper's comment was a little more malicious, though, and that's why I went into lecture mode. :P

your wrong last poster...if the game was open for a day,maybe i would have gotten a better sence of this game and joined.if they want people to join they should want to show it off and get people excited.how excited can you get with the same monsters,quests,magic,etc ??? you cant...

all mmo`s are the same.they open the game up and people get excited...thsts my point not to enrage people.you cant get excited with a mmo in a half hour...thats why wow,guild wars,and many others did great.they opened the game up for a weekend or so and got people excited.....that`s the name of the game.get people excited about your content.it cant happen hear.its to closed up...imho

I see what you're saying- but you CAN play it, and experience most aspects of the game quite well. It IS open in that sense. I haven't subscribed (yet) and I'm really not missing out on a ton of stuff. Maybe that's because I'm low level, and will really start to see the awesome stuff later on.

I agree that it would be a nice hook for them to give you membership rights for a couple days, and that would be closer to what other MMOs do (free 7 days, etc.). That seems to work and generate that kind of excitement you were talking about; but it doesn't feel like this one's really set up to do the same. You can still play and access most features. I'd probably be pretty mad once I got all my uber rainbow/purple gear and then had my membership rights revoked until I paid more. Granted, that might encourage some people to subscribe, but others would just quit.

I guess you have to balance that out, and hopefully the developers have done some market research and the like to make the best decision for the market they're gunning for.
