HDoL is next after the regular dungeon. Once you have cleared that then you are in a holding pattern for more content.

at the end of HDoL Stage 6 you fight the Queen again:(

The Queen herself in HDoL I find much easier than SE version but having a Gatekeeper and a wack of other other mobs (healers included) make up for the change.

Why HDOL has no Townston-linked Obelisks???

For the same reason that Algeron does not have an obelisk. It is attached to town through a portal. Your waypoint in HDoL only is saved if you go through a red portal (2-way) and not for 1-way portals.
