Hi, I downloaded this game a few days ago and so far, I have gotten to level 8. I'm enjoying the game a lot with my cousin but I'm a little confused about a few things for my fighter.

If you all could answer these questions I'd really appreciate it.

1) What skills would you prefer for your warrior?
I've done some reading and some people prefer a mix, Soul Rend on LMB (if I manage to find a % mana steal item), and a speed buff (1h / 2h) on RMB, and as for the other skills, I was kind of thinking... Ring of Fire, Gaseous Blast for AoEing, but thats basically all I know of right now (and I know I should have researched this, but its late and I need to get up early tomorrow, but in order to level up skills, do you have to keep buying them? Also, what equips give a % mana steal or % health steal? Thanks).

2)What stat allocation do you have?
As of now, most of my points are in Strength, and a few in Agility, and now I'm planning on adding more Endurance.

3)1h + Shield / 2h / Dual 1h?
Theres a lot of controversy on this topic and I've narrowed it down to my liking of either 2h or Dual 1h. More of the higher leveled and experienced players like 2h swords, but the lower leveled ones prefer Dual 1h. Should I try to find 2 yellow 1h swords or a good 2h one? (I'm planning to become a member, thanks to the PlayNC game time card that I read about).

I can answer these but with a note that i am now almost to lvl 70, so someof my choices may not work for you:)

1. As far as skills go I either use 1h/2h swivel or shadow lightening on my left mouse click. 1h/2h so I don't forget to use it and it spams off every time it resets. Right click I generally have for Holy Roller now, at one time I used butcher but HR is so much better. AoE's are Ring, Gaseous, Acidic Blight and sometimes Un-nerving Shout. Then the passives which change constantly...I do keep Gym Freak most of the time.

2. to start I wss splitting 3/2 - 3/1/1 Str/End - Str/Agi/End. As it stands now most of mine go into Agi and I rely on items to boost everythin else.
Agi effects your att rating. So if you are not missing then I would say Str/End should be you primary concern. If you start to notice a lot of misses the add to your Agi.

3. I currently DW with 2 matched mythics. because of the DPS I get with them is more than anything else I've found lately. For a very short time I did 1h + sheild. But when you hit the higher lvls the damage output seems to not be enough to warrant. I used 2h'ers for about the first 35 lvls or so...Hammers, a Dragonfin, Pizza Cutter and Deathbringer Axe's. The PC and Deathbringer are normal to fast speed so I still use them every once in a while when I find a good one.

PlayNC cards rule!!!! 6 months for 29.99 and I get a discount on them at work :)

Suppose I get a decent item with % mana steal, should I go Soul Rend on LMB and Shadow Lightning on RMB? I'm not really sure what Shadow Lightning does but I heard it was for killing the smaller mobs, which should help a lot.

If you have a normal fighter build, with very low INT, it is unlikely you will have enough mana even with 2% mana steal to spam shadow lightening effectively.

Yeah, I was just gonna have the shadow lightning just in case I come across a bunch of monsters and don't feel like hitting all of them one by one. Soul Rend is the main reason I would have the % mana steal.

also you can re-spec all of your points in Grey when you get like 60,000 or different for what lvl you are gold and make them whatever you want.... like 60 on str. and 40 on end.

i meant 60% on str. and 40% on end.

Yeah, I recently became a member and i respecced to 3/2 str/end every level, and just relied on equipment for agi (I have a base of 10 and an additional 110 from gear)

Gary... thank you for your reply to another player that had some questions that she didn't know the answers to. I for one was also wondering about the very things this player asked about.

Your response was very much appreciated by me also and very helpful. Although I've a question of my own now and that is.... how do you change your character? Maybe I missed something along the way but I was just wondering if you had any information in this regard.

On your character panel (C) there is an option under your statistics to "Re-Spec" if you click that it will burn an amount of gold depending on level and give you 15min to set up your abilities as you please. I find this very helpful since at level 11 its like 220 gold or so.

i am lvl 28 and it will take me almost 60,000 gold to re-spec but gold no problem i have 2.6 million
