I'm just starting to make my way through the widow's dungeon and I'm finding dealing with all the ranged mobs a pain. I can do it by chasing them down one by one but that's really quite dull, is there a better way ?

Here are some ideas:

* Use a skill like Shadow Word Smackdown to knock them on their arses...

* Use Spirit of the Hare to close the gap

* Big, hard-hitting 2h weapons like hammers are great for chase mobs since only 1 or 2 hits are required.

One of the benefits of the classless rpg system is that you can choose any skill from any "class", use any gear and assign points to any attribute. Find something that works for you and have fun!

Ice bolt is also useful since it almost halves their movement speed.

If the pain you feel is them killing you, go farm a boss for alot of deflect range damage items.

Nah, they don't kill me, at least no more than anyone else :-). I just find it dull to have to chase them down one by one. I'm having a little bit of success using the gas cloud spell and I'm using holy roller as soon as it comes up.

I just wondered if there was a better way of nailing the beggars.

Yeah, like he said - smackdown works wonders.

Too bad it has such lousy damage...
