If one only used divine skills could they get away with having all END and INT? I mean if your divine attack damage is based on your INT then wouldn't that make sense? Your other stats AGI/STR are useless. If you did that then you could get all the benefits of the plate armor and still do devastating damage.

I don't know if this has been tested. I would test it but my fighter is a lowbie. Have any of the guys with 100 lvl fighters tested something like this? If so, does it work?

I've been toying with this for the past few hours, with as little STR as possible, barely enough AGI to land hits and a pretty even END/INT split. It needs a bit of fiddling, but it's quite fun for a change.

I'm also using a fast 1-hander weapon (with shield for Dark Conniption), since Soul Rend has a weapon-based cooldown, a fast weapon is the logical choice for dishing out the most divine damage.

I have tested the opposite. My divine fighter has all points in STR and AGI, I get the conuses to INT and END from my gear, and then I use Divine Ascendancy to boost the divine damage. Since my base INT is very low I then put on gear that gives me a lot of divine bonuses, and Soul Rend my way through the mobs.

If I can get my hands on a a fast dinvine weapon though, I might try this... if I do, I'll let you know how it turned out. :)

It's actually a really fun build, the Divineadin. I've almost gone back to it fully again. :)

And imagine if you coupled that the the divine boosting gear - we just might have unlocked a new solo'ing build.

It might be a while... my Goshly gear is still a couple of levels above mine :)

I am a mage with all points to intel, and I do this fighter build every now and then, I get endurance and some agility from gear and use the high intel to power soul rend, gosh shower, and mfb.

It works pretty good but you do still need a fair amount of agility just to be able to land the hits, if you do not have enough you will miss all day and it won't be effective.
