Yes, except you need more agi. You need about 100 attack rating per lvl, so 2,000 would be about as low as you want to go. Otherwise, you're going to do too much missing. |

I miss about 65% of the time.... =Þ I didn't know that attack rating helps you hit people more often. Thank you! |

Actually you are going about the process all wrong. The number 1 falicy of all new DR players is that you need a tank.....the second falicy is that the warrior is the best tank.... on insane at your level even with the amount of hp you have SC will 1 hit you with great probabulity.... you best line of approach, even in a group, would be to max you damage output i.e DPS...the quicker you can kill an enemy the less damage you take so inversely you need less health because you are killing them before they can kill you..... A8 pointed out that you need more agi... and he i'm sure hadn't really thought about the fact deeply and pondered the notion that you were not planning on attacking but on just being a tasty treat for Al Gore to mack on......not to poke fun or even slight A8.... secongly warriors in DR make very poor tanks.... no matter how hard you try, your hp is limited by your need to allocate stats to other vital warrior skills.... strength for damage and defense, agility for attacking...i'm not sure the max i've gotten on Bogey but it's not been much over 20k hp, and is generally quite a bit less, since i focus on killing.... and in light of that may i introduce the Mage... roughly 8k hp with a mana pool running towards 50+k.. and that matters why? ah my fine young fellow it matters for the simple fact of a Blue Screen of Life... a useful little buff that redirects a portion of all damage from your paltry pool of health to you grandeous and gloriuos poll of shall we say MANA..... now i'm bot advocating you respeccing to a mage..i am just trying to point out the fact that a warrior is a ...tanklless job:) check Bogey out I know he is lvl 100 buti've use the same basic build since February of 07 and haven't had any problems i couldn't solve... Gary He doesn't one hit me.. He fifteen hits me. I use health potions. Mages suck at tanking. They barely have any defense. I've ran and tanked SC MANY times, and I've been doing a good job at it. Once I play this game I could show you and I can watch you grow jealous because your all wrong. Once I fix this error so I can even launch the game. Then I'll invite you. Then I'll go to SC. Then I'll prove you wrong. |

ummm i can 1 hit Al so point is moot...you've only dealt with low level mages and yes up to a certain point the suck anyway you asked a question and got an answer it may not have been the "oh know you are uber fine and can rock SC's world continue on with your bad self" that it seems you wanted. so sorry Gary |

*sigh* + *yawn* Reaver, I think you might be misconstruing the tone of Bogey's post. He's a nice guy, and was definitely just offering friendly advice. I'm fairly sure you're a nice guy too, so I suggest everyone in this thread re-enter from another door (check the knob first to make sure it's not hot), so this doesn't turn into the same crap that a large portion of other threads has turned into over the last couple months. Not that I'm reluctant to fan the flames usually, I know, but it has gotten tiresome lately. |

Using words like worthless, suck and words in that category is not friendly at all. But fine, I'll deal with it. |

The thing with fighters in DR is that they rely on AGI, STR, and END to be effective, but your base points per level will be spread pretty thin if you try to cover all three, so a lot of fighters end up boosting them with gear. Higher AGI means a higher attack rating, and yours is fairly low right now, especially if you're soloing Sissi. If you're in a group, ignore your attack rating and maximize your damage output instead, so that when you do hit, you will hit hard. Make sense? :) |

Yes. But I can always do that whenever I want. See, I have lots of gear in my bank that I switch off with. I have DPS gear and tank gear. So I should balance it a little bit so I at least do some damage. Because I know that my DPS gear has some agility on it, so I should wear the rings, necklaces that give me agility, anything that doesn't really give me defense, I should wear those? And keep my shield/armor on? |

If you have a lot of gear, I suggest that you just start experimenting until you find a combination that works well for you. I can tell you what I use, which tends to be lots of things with END bonuses, since I have all my points in STR and AGI, but looking at your stats, that is not something you need. When I use 2H weapons I don't bother with INT bonuses, Soul Rend does not use up enough mana points to be worth it. When I use a 1H-Shield, or dual-wield 1H weapons I go for fire bonuses and INT bonuses, since Flaming Buddy burns through mana as fast as he torches mobs. And because Flaming Buddy is so effective offensively, I don't need as much health and defense, since the mobs die in flames and pain before they have a chance to hurt me. The trick is to test out various builds until you find whatever works best for you and your playing style. For example, I play my mage like a tank and never had any problems doing that. :) |

:) wow I feel totally bad now... I apologise because I was in a mood when I did the first 2 of my posts... but truly you should check out some other peoples build's ...Khaz's might make more sense because she hasn't hit lvl 100 yet... I've got a low lvl fighter I play with but he's on my non-member account and only lvl 15 so what I'm doing with him would probably not be helpful you also might wanna check some higher lvl mage toons before you knock there ability to tank... I regularly run with some of my posse mates and hide behind a mage quite often... BansheeBasher would be one to check out... SportsterJr i believe and is MageNolan still around? Banisco is gone but her stats may still be available in a veiwer IvysMage...she plays world 4 Anyway good luck to you and good running Gary |

Heh, my lv l33 mage is a total badass... if they get even better later on I am all excited now! :) The fighter is the Laker Girl linked in my signature. The mages goes through fire and flames and the ranger is way too underutilized to be of any help to you anyway. |

I'm not a member, so I can't use any of the 8 rainbows I got... it really sucks. I have The Judge, Diablocal (not to be used as a floatation device), and Shardian. They're all member! =-C |

Five dollars is cheaper than one trip to a fast food restaurant, 2 1/2 gallons of gas, a night on the town, a cappuchino from Karlbucks, a pack of smokes, (list abridged due to time constraints) |
