I would imagine that almost every single day since the beginning of time has been predicted as the last.

Things like this can be interesting maybe for an hour on the history channel, but I wouldn't waste my time with conspiracy theory/end times/alien bull crap.

And yeah the whole end of the world stuff is probably just conspiracy theorists getting a little squirmish, it happens every time something odd happens, its human nature to think the worst of the unknown.

No one knows whats going to happen, probably nothing, but I doubt its going to be the end of the world.

If you want to see some amusing end of the world rhetoric, go to youtube and seach "Nibiru" its enough to make you want to pull your hair out the nit wits that believe this are so nuts.

I know the world will end! ...at least according to accepted science. The sun will begin to die, and turn into a red giant engulfing Mercury and Venus and basically vaporizing Earth's surface. However, I think we have some time before we need to start tearing ass to the escape pods.

But hopefully, by the time all of this happens, we will have colonized other planets...on the other hand we may annihilate ourselves in war, or maybe get hit by a meteor, or maybe a supervolcano will erupt, or a supervirus will break out, or Hostess will stop making Twinkies....there are just too many possibilities.
