Nothing? Not about something? But, nothing is something... a word. is nothing. But then again, is something too, a few pixels on my monitor! Then what is nothing? Maybe it can be found in space. A strange thing, that nothing. |

Nothing is impossible. If you have 0 oranges you have no oranges. You still have something. You have you. If you look around the entire universe you will see to the edge of infinity that their is nothing nowhere. Even in the emptiest part of the universe their is the basic construct of the universe itself. So there is something. I put to you the question. Is nothing possible? -------------------- RockSlide / Reader / Lebowitz The Character Viewers I use: http://threeplanetssoftware.com/software/dr/ X http://www.drplayers.com/net/dr/ Made by the fans for the fans. In the great tradition of nothing: I hear by present ubuntu. Which is compatible with almost none of the windows software I use. It is compatible with Dungeon Runners , the PTS and does a good job. Even if it is a pain to configure the resources for it. Now if only I could get it to work with the rest of the software I wasted my money on I would be able to cast windows into the void and stop reinstalling it every couple of months. -------------------- RockSlide / Reader / Lebowitz The Character Viewers I use: http://threeplanetssoftware.com/software/dr/ X http://www.drplayers.com/net/dr/ Made by the fans for the fans. It is sad, but I don't foresee it becoming any easier to switch from one operating sytem to another. I would love to go Linux(gOS specifically, maybe Mandrake), but the possibility that the stuff I normally use may not work on it is just an annoyance. I understand the architecture of the OS's are very different, but I think most companies just want the easy way out and that's why they design for Windows. Windows is indeed, *ahem* "teh suxxorz". The last good Windows was Win98SE, and that's not saying much. I'm running WinXP Professional now, but I have no intention of going Vista. They just took XP and added a new look so that you have to upgrade your computer to run it and made people believe it was "better". It's a crock. Microsoft hasn't done a damn thing to improve the security and stability of Windows. Okay, I'm done ranting now -------------------- Time is an illusion... Lunchtime, doubly so. |
