So maybe remove summons then? However, it's been stated over and over from the developers that is not going to happen, so there is no point bringing that up at all. Maybe what we need is simply more posts on the subject like Cysira's. Constructive and detailed, and a very far cry from what unfortunately sounded lot like "waaaah, my favorite tactic isn't working anymore" when Chunk 4 first came out.
Well, it's easy and convenient for those who don't pvp to assume every anti-this or that thread is simply a baseless complaint since the solutions we've seen so far (DC and CB) are less than ideal, but just because someone doesn't go into exhaustive detail doesn't mean the heart of the matter isn't valid.

I would say yes, if MFB were properly balanced, but then if it were properly balanced, MFB couldn't be the only reason a player is winning.

Sounded like, not necessarily not valid.

Stating a problem without going into detail either on what makes it a problem or what can be done about it comes across as whining, especially if the statement is a bit lacking in punctuation and grammar. That's what I liked about Cysira's post, that it bothers to take the time and goes into detail, and then moves on to offer a solution. And here's the thing: If someone else had taken the time to write a post like that in the past, the DC solution might have been a bit better than it was. (The old forum posts are inaccessible, so I wasn't able to go back and see if someone did.)

If the point really is valid, it's an easy thing to defend it. Or at least it should be.

Guys, I'm playing DR for a long time now...most of the tiome on pvp.

B4 the new maps and the flaming buddy, fighters was "faceable".

Today any half decent fighter with this flaming buddy is kicking EVERYBODY 4$$.

I know that the new maps are made to balance things up and to stop the running, but when u can't disengage from I fighter that summons 2 or 3 pets with HUGE dmg output on your trail...u are screwed.

Even with my Crit Ranger with 96% power or so I can't handle the flame guys from a 86% guy and that is with all my characters pojnts on stamina and passives to max it.

that happens cause when the flame guys are summoned u can't run, since the mapos handle this, and u can't stay and try to kill the warrior since u'll be obliterated by the flame dudes.

PVP needs a serous tweak so all classes have a fair shot.

Skill is important but when all the game balance is shifted one way all the pvp fun dies with it.

I'm not a whinning guy with no skill and lots of things to complain...I had my share of pvp wins even when I was the real underdog.

Well...thats just my 2 cents from a guy that loved this pvp and want this to be fun to everyone!

Level up get a fire res buff and some fire res gear and combine the right set of skills and u can beat a MFB user, I mean if you twinking it then u may have a problem with a MFB user and thats cause ur making the choice to twink, thus u dont have access to all the skills and the higher gear that makes a MFB user faceable.

Any good ranger twink should be able to beat a fair deal of the mfb fighters out there, unless they are undergeared or are just complete muppets.

Or is it just me that can beat mfb fighters?

Wait till Rangers get the 2 new fire skills next patch; then people will complain Rangers are over-powered, RoFL!

There is a pretty good chance for that, but those mfb users will probably be ready for it, with all their cinder gear and all.
