* Seems very cool. Was even useful, to a certain extent, on a ranger.
* The cast range seems very short - should probably be longer.
* Radius of the spell is fine for what it does, IMO

RoG was pretty impressive, imo.

I found it very useful for nailing those pesky casters/shooters who like to hang out just beyond the range of crispy critters, or for tossing the monster bait out and then hammering them with the ray, as they gather for their feast...they stab it with their steely knives, but they just can't kill the beast...

I also really liked RoG and found it really effective and didn't really have a problem with the range some much.

I being a fighter haven't got to test it but I have a feeling it will be a very useful AoE when my mage hits 45.

I am really looking forward to Ray of Gosh... my fighter uses almost exclusively divine skills, and I've bene wanting to try a ranged attack out with her. When the patch notes mentioned a Divine mage skill, I decided I can wait for that to go live.

Or maybe I'll just install PTS tonight.

Definitely did wonders at balzack. I see the devs more and more try to put in unlimited mob aoe's, while having it under control. That being said, not like gaseous blast while it was unlimited mobs, but in a more general way. Im glad I see more and more unlimited-mobs-in-certain-range-take-dmg getting back into the game.

I would suggest it be stronger, but with a time buffer. If a mage puts it on the left or right mouse, it can get annoying with the constant beams of light.

Other fire skills seem to be stronger and less...bright.

I tried it with a fighter and found it very useful especially against casters and rangers. it made it inpossible for them to kite or run away in the new pvp maps.

So far I have found it pretty usefully, I have come up with a few tactics for it that seem to be effective pve wise, I have yet to test it out in pvp so i'll see how that goes. I too wish though that the range was a tad big longer but meh can't complain i've been wanting a divine, not so fighter based skill for quite some time now. Its funny cause I always wanted a skill this this just with a bigger radius and longer casting time. But overall the skill is usefull and well see how it fairs in pvp.

This skill has been on my Wish List for a very long time, so I am excited to finally have it in the game. I look forward to seeing/hearing all your different strategies you come up with for it.

Oh, and props to BigFatKlingon for the funny post. You got Stephen and I both laughing at that one.

I decided to try it with my Ranger and I actually liked that as well. It would be nice to slip in as a sneak attack when they (in PvP that is) are expecting me to either use poison or ice shot as an attack.

With this skill coming out it gives me hope that a meteor skill, is possible or a blizzard skill.

Now if only there was a mage rb that gives divine dmg....
