hi ladies n gents, i have a question, when dungeon runners first came out i played it alot, and i did pay the 5$ so i could wear the rares and stuff back then, but i had to take a leave of absence from the game, and forgot all my info n such but thats ok i was gunna start over any ways, my question is, since im broke atm, i was wondering, wats the pros/con for free2play n pay2play, are free players allowed to use the bank, wear rares n stuff now or still the same as when it was released... i appericate all of the answers (in advance) thanks again

Since I don't know exactly when you last played, I'll just list all the things I can think of that pertain to the current game.

Free players:

get access to one bank page
can use minor potions that stack to 5
can wear all rare (yellow) gear
Unique (purple) gear has a 25% chance to be nonmember
Mythic (rainbow) gear has a 5% chance
gain 15% less exp than members
get ...some... % less loot than members
items purchased with king's coins cost 1.5 x member cost

...that's everything I can remember at the moment.

After re-reading the patch notes for Chunk 4 (currently on the PTS):

yellow items now have a 50% chance to be nonmember
items purchased with king's coins cost 2 x member cost

And at the risk of making everyone mad for saying something that's been said a hunnerd times before:

Spend the $20 on the box. All those free to play disadvantages vanish, plus 6 months membership at a discount, plus gnome crap, plus the Shadow Queen mails you a pair of her undies -- which at first seemed like a downside, but I'll be danged if they aren't granny style undies that make for a perfect three man tent.

The six month membership is well worth the price alone.

You should buy the box it's worth it.

But free play isn't bad at all. It's still fun.
