Chunk 4 status diary...

Dear Diary:

Today we got a new build of the core grouping server... it's the server that handles guilds in both Tabula Rasa and posses in Dungeon Runners. We call it the "core grouping server" because it's developed and managed by another team within the company called the "core team". They make servers like chat, grouping and voice chat.

The new build was supposed to fix a crasher and some odd chat behavior. Well, diary, it fixed the crasher and the previous chat issues. However, it also created a few new issues with the friends list that need to be fixed.

The programmers that are responsible for this server are out today. But, another Dungeon Runners developer is looking into the new problems to make sure we can't fix them without waiting.

Well, diary, it looks like we're gonna have to wait until Monday to cook the latest version of Chunk 4... unless something gets fixed in the next couple of hours. Did you know it takes like four hours to cook a build of the game and all the patches?! Crazy!

	Dear Diary: We are currently getting this build ready for PTS publish. I expect it should be playable on the PTS some time today. We've diabled posse support since it's been the source of our delay. It will take us a week or so to get the kinks worked out and get it turned on. If this build does well on the PTS, it will be on the live servers early next week. steve

	Dear Diary: Build 147 is cooked and about to hit the PTS. We're scheduling this for live tomorrow morning (unless something terrible happens). An official downtime announcement will come later today... steve

Dear Diary:

We've got build 150 ready to go. This new build has everything we need to get posses out to you. The problem is that we've found an odd issue that's only happening on the PTS. It seems that the posse leader is being reassigned automatically any time they log out. Peculiar. We were going to publish this tomorrow morning... but we need to take a closer look at this issue first.

Looks like a Monday publish for the new posse build is the soonest we can do it.

	We've found a new issue with cross-server chat that we need to fix. Posse support is disabled until we get our hotfix up for this problem. All existing posses are still around. Don't be alarmed. steve
