I installed the game and everything but whenever I click the icon, it won't start up. The only thing that happens is an hourglass showing up for 2 seconds before going away and nothing happening.

Any suggestions?

Suggestion 11: Post your system specs including operating system and which Service Pack you have installed. Did you have a firewall and/or antivirus running when you installed the game? If yes, uninstall it, shut down both and reinstall.

For the most part, that's all I got. I did it with and without the firewall AND my antivirus on and I still got the same result I posted earlier.

It might be worth your while to download new DR installation file and install that one instead.

Your problem sounds similar to one I run into occsionally, but a simple reboot is usally enough to fix it. Anyone else?

Have you checked your .net framework,I had that same problem and had to reinstall the framework.

run through M$'s automatic updates and make sure everything is up to date, I'd refrain from installing SP3 right now though.
Make sure you have .Net frameworks 1 through 3 installed and updated.
