yes im trying to install Dungeon Runners through the PlayNC Launcher and it just stays at the screen that says "Downloading Install Information" what can i do to fix this cause i really wanna play Dungeon Runners lol

Well,
A). You can wait and get it working with the launcher, or,
B). Download the stand-alone installer: ftp://ftp.dungeonrunners.com/DungeonRunnersSetup.exe

If nether of those work then I'm out of ideas - It was so long ago I installed it.

its the same file that makes you use the plaync launcher to install it. anyone else help me out?

Buy the retail box and install it from the CD.... Plus you'll get a WAY kewl Gnomie Homie to git yer lewt.

Hmm, that used to be the full installer, but it's a downloader.

Have you tried downloading/installing with you firewall off? it could be ZoneAlarm or like product causing a problem.

Might be better off sending in a support ticket then downloading things at random though.

If you're unable to download the files, then you *probably* have a network security issue.

1) Do you have a software firewall (even the Windows firewall) running?

2) Are you on a campus or other administered network site (office, for example)?

3) Do you have a hardware firewall?

no, no, and yes but ive opened the ports. this is the error i get "Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation."

OK - that would indicated there's an issue between the software and your system, probably with the .NET framework. The launcher will install .NET Framework 2, if it doesn't exist, but it won't repair a faulty installation if it already exists.

1) Are you on XP or Vista?

2) Are you logged on to your system with an account that has administrative rights? If you're using Vista, there's a good possibility you're not.

3) What version of .NET do you have installed, if any?

Assuming you have administrative rights under your account, you might try uninstalling the .NET framework 2.0--if you have one installed--and reinstalling it manually (then make sure you patch it up through Microsoft update).

If you aren't logged in as an account with administrative rights, then you'll need to do so or none of this will have a chance of working (from an install standpoint, that is - you can login to a limited privilege account to actually play the game).

If your having trouble getting it uninstaller you could try Revo Uninstaller, Linky
but be very careful because you could break something vital using it.
