So I spent... 5(?) hours playing a few months ago. It was alright, might come back later. Well, now I just redownloaded the game, spent 30 minutes remembering my name and password, and now I'm sitting in town. With no idea of what to do. <_<

I'm a level 7 mage. No clue with what I'm doing with my skills or anything. Where should I be right now and what should I be doing? I remember faintly being in a desert-ish area suddenly out of a dungeon and it had pretty hard enemies and most people were dying. And something about domes.

Also, how does the game change as you make progression? The environments? Is there a 'final area'? How much time does it take to get to the 'endgame'?

If someone wants to spend some time bringing me around the ropes, that would be nice.

Use the obelisk to get to townston;
once there, visit the skill trainers scattered around the obelisk (3 in all) and anyone with a ? over their head, as they'll have quests for you. Then, head out into Algernon, which is the gate next to the noobasaurus booth.

I'd suggest logging onto world 7, as there are a lot of folks that'll take the time to explain things.

If you are level seven and this lost, I would suggest starting over. Make a new "toon" and go through Dew Valley.

By comparison, I have left many console games only to return later and not recall what was going on at the time. It is so much easier to start over and learn anew than to dredge through without any tutorial.

Another option for you is to hit L on your keyboard. That will bring up your quest log and any unfinished quests you had at the time. I often take week-long breaks from DR, and the quest log is invaluable to me.

Also, there's the Noobasaurus in town, if no one else online volunteers, he might be happy to explain some things.

Delte your character and create a new one. Complete some stuff CARFULLY READING the info. Some quests will tell yo where trainers are... what you can do with KC... info abou dungeons etc.. You can also go too noobasuar.
