A few days ago I saw a Purple Gnome...
Normally the Gnome is written in green but that one was purple oO ???
Can you upgrade him ???

The Gnome is not upgradable. Can you tell us where you saw this purple gnome at? What level, what side quest, etc?

Are you sure you're not confusing him with the pet Warg you can get in the afterlife missions? The Warg is purple if I remember correctly...That pet is earned by redeeming purple "special limited edition proof of pwnage" crystals and is not permanent like the Gnome is.

So that's what that item does! I've been wondering, and I'm too lazy to look it up

There's a curse/effect who can make people a bit off-colored and much smaller. Might have been someone suffering from that you've seen.

It was a GNOME with a purple name, not a person who was greenish ^^

If it happens again, can you make a screenshot by pressing the Print Screen key on your keyboard (while in-game) and then saving the document as a JPEG file in Paint and then posting it at fileshack or imageshack, etc. so we can get a link to it and see it ourselves?

No one is saying outright you're wrong, just that this is something that so far seems to have never been seen before (and we're told shouldn't exist) so naturally we're all curious as to what it is you've seen.

Yes the name was colored. Could not say if the Gnome is/was or not. Just wondered because of the name and tried to get a screen but he ported.

To bad you didn't see this gnome before the major Bling Gnome event a couple of weeks back. Then we all could've have really many gnomes to check.

Hm... I wonder if it were one of the Devs trying something out. The mythical "dark gnome" or name-changing or something. But wouldn't that require an update to the game?

Seems this whole question might be filed in the Mystery category until we know more.
