Ok I was in world chat, and a discussiona rose that every yellow used to be member only. Now I can see how some used to be member im not arguing that but what I am trying to clear up is did every yellow the dropped drop member only? I thought I read something in the patch notes about them being non-mem and mem with the majority being mem.

Once upon a time, yes. Now, 100% of yellows can be used by non members.

Not sure but they might have been completely member only a long time ago. Some patch back they had 75% chance of being non-member. Purples have 25% chance today of being non-member and RB's 5%.

Before ads were introduced, all yellows were member only, that was sometime round december '07.

Before chunk #2 - blues and lower only, no bank space, pots don't stack at all

With Chunk #2 - Yellows 75%, purples and rainbows 25% with ads, 1 page bank, pots stack to 5 - ads are very intrusive (login, logout ads, for example - can't exit game without watching an ad)

With Chunk #3 - Further tweaking - Yellows 100%, purples 25%, rainbows 5% with ads, 1 page bank, pots stack to 5, non-member exp and gold drops are lowered, non-member KC prices are raised - ad are much, much less intrusive than they were with Chunk #2

It's true all yellows, purps and RBs used to be member-only. Non-members had to setle with blues... I remember when the word hit that yellow and purps are going to be for free players too. The waiting for that update was really long, Durning it i stoped playing for a few months. Oh, ads apeared with that update.
