Well, as a ranger your primary stat is agility so you will need lots of it, it affects your chance to hit and adds to damage. You will need enough con to survive and some int for spells. How much int depends on your playing style and how much you will cast spells.

You absolutely do not need str at all, while it adds to defense its not enough to make any kind of difference.

And then you'll need ranger type skills, take a look at the ranger npc to see what would be a good fit, especially the passives.

If you're level 10, just start over. Getting to level 10, once you know what you're doing, takes just an hour or two at most. You'll also learn the class, which is good.

If you're just deleting a character and starting over, no. If you're creating a second character on the same account, yes. In order to transfer items, you'll need to create a second DR account (just do a free one), then launch DR twice, logging in as a character from each account - then, just trade between the characters you want.

Hi.
There is a way to change Fighter to Ranger cause I did it to my fighter.
You have to change the skills from Gym Freak, Way of the Roo and Butcher to Trigger Happy, Average Bmi and Poison Shot. And you get those skills from the Ranger girl on Townston. Or you can change to a Mage by using skills Book Worm, Mental Prowess and Fire Bolt.
You can always change back by changing the skills back to original ones.

I recommend as a low level ranger, in pve, to use both average bmi and gym freak. The boost in endurance they give will help you add a tad more points in agility. Eventually, you'll end up buying all the skills and learning to combine things in a way that works for you.
