I'm a level 28 Pyromancer Mage and Once I get Past 30 I won't be able to farm SC without getting XP. I have tried to farm other bosses and I'm just not high enough. Where should I farm. This is my character: http://threeplanetssoftware.com/software/dr/profile.php?character=OwnageMage

You could try hdol, it tends to have better treasure than plain old dungeon running. Or, you could just level up in dungeons, its been done before ya know

Once you get to 30, try Rotgut again if you haven't already. He gives great loot, though I think he's resistant to shsadow, so you might want to go full fire, or trade out shadow for ice.

If you can find a fighter to escort you, that would make things easier, too.

Try to find a side-dungeon in Widowers giving you good Exp. It seems there's one in most dungeons.

If you go with all fire, because Rotgut and his crew are resistant to shadow, and use the turkey leg to attract the mob for awhile, you can farm rotgut from lvl 30 up, I know because I did it. Without the turkey leg tho i think you'll need some help.

Well truth be told, I farm SC by myself with my 32+ level characters on insane. True, the items are all below my character's level and I don't gain xp, but I typically farm for money and not for xp.

When I want xp, I do the dungeons. I can get through half to most of a 7 level dungeon in an evening on normal level and get XP that way.

So, if you want money, you can keep farming SC insane. If you want xp, you can do dungeons. If you want both, then you will probably do best grouping and farming something tougher on insane.

use the rotgot solo trick. Run up to rotty and then run back to the last bookcase all the others will respawn and rotty will be there solo.

yes pulling rotgut down after killing the first mob makes things easier, but rotty id kind of a tough boss to solo as a mage with the damage he does

Thats just for farming tho, for xp like someone here said, i forgot by the time i started posting lol, find a side dungeon on one of the levels of widowers nest or verigrims vexation, crypts tend to be the best ones, ie demonic crypts which is gone :'(, nether crypts, and my most recent "find" Crypts r us in balzacks burrow, these tend to have the best layout and mob population for quicker leveling.

Well since the question is "Where Should I Level Next?" not "Where should I farm next"...

Try leveling in one of the mini-dungeons off of the main levels, they mostly have lots of easy mobs and a few chests, you can pick up a fare bit of exp running those on normal.

According to my handy map one such level (The Crematorium) can be found off of level 3 of Vergrim's Vexation (The next dungeon after Snow Chief).
