Can't decide.

Ok well I currently have a insane sissi tank/soloer. Well just an average tank in general. As of now I'm currently using two 1 handed weapons, But I'm wanting to switch to a 2 handed weapon. Is that a good idear or should I just stick with the 1 handers. heres my character is your wondering. My character |

IMO, if you want to continue being a tank, keep acquiring those crystalline parts and get yourself a decent two-handed weapon to make up for your lack of STR. You're on a good path, just stick with twohanders. |

A lot depends on the weapons you have access to, but in general, I found that my 1 handers were more effective up to a point. Around level 55 or so, the mobs got dense enough, and my cleave got powerful enough that it made more sense to switch to the 2h. But even now I'll go back to 1 handers if I'm just farming Abby and don't need Cleave. |

but even just farming Abby a warrior isn't the real tank unless he's sportin 30k hp. I know Ban, Thom, and Al were the main tanks in the groups I was in and they are all... mages... nothing beats a 50k mana pool and BSoL. and a warrior with 30k hp is useless for anything. I don't think it matters, 2 handed seems to be about as effective as 2 one handed. I think this is because if any given setup was better than the rest the devs would nerf the better one or boost the bad ones so that they would be about the same. So go with what you like. |

I'm not a tank, but i have a bit of expiriance with tanking. Mostly i agree with Villinz, 2 hander would be more effective, he named the reason -------------------- Anger is a gift. There's a thin line between bravery, and crazyness. I'm nowhere near that line, i'm way in the crazyness zone!   |

Dual 1-handers do work very well with Cleave, and clear fodder mobs very well. However, a 2-hander works better. I use the two 1-hand weapons for speed an attack rating, but I plan to switch to a 2-hand weapon with a solid END bonus in a few more levels (specifically, when I hit 35), since they do hit harder and cleave better. -------------------- Khaz: W4 Laker Girl An earthquake's sound, to a girl's guitar, is just another good vibration. |
