I'd say a pure ice-mage with loads of +Ice gear is the fastest for Abby. Here's a video of me killing Abby in < 15 seconds (once I actually started shooting). Here are some points regarding the video: 1) I'm a level 100 ranger, but without optimal gear at the time the video was shot (still wearing yellows and purples with some rainbows, once piece was at least 12 levels old) 2) No Fire Resist - wasn't necessary, since he never got to cast meteor 3) Using a slothful purple bow?!? That's crazy!!! 4) Not using a speed/crit build and using Chill Bill?!? 5) Had a ton of melee reflect gear, good hp and very good DPS. Even with more "optimal" gear now, I still can only kill him on normal in about 11 seconds as my fastest kill. I've heard Peanutz can drop him pretty darn quickly on extreme, but I don't know for sure. So, a mage may be able to do better that that, but I'm pretty happy with how I'm able to kill him as a ranger ;P Edited by Ripper_McGee (07/26/08 10:15 PM) |

Fighters arfe the way to go. Go look at my build. I do 10k AVERAGE dps without dmg/speed buff. Melee reflect for fighter pwns too. |
