Anyone can use ranged weapons. Equip them the same way you would equip a two handed staff or a two handed melee weapon. At the moment there are only 2 handed raged weapons but one handers are in development and will be in the game at some point in the future.

The thing you need most with ranged weapons is agility. That is the stat that increases your accuracy and damage with ranged weapons. You'll need endurance for health and a little bit of int in order to use your skills.

Thanks for the info. Is there a way to quickly switch from ranged to melee. Seems cumbersome to manage inventory in the middle of a fight. Thanks.

Unfortunately no which makes a little strategic planning before running a certain Dungeon or level key to success as if you know what kind of monsters are there, you can plan the best mix of weapons and gear to give you the best defense and the highest DPS for the type of Monster you are trying to attack....

Kinda like a larger game of Rock/Paper/Scissors...

Fire beats Ice, Ice beats Shadow, Shadow beats Poison, etc..etc... It all depends on what the specific weaknesses are for the types of monster/bosses you'll be fighting so plan accordingly..
