PvP builds?

are the majority of aoe spells viable for pvp builds? up to now ive been using mainly shadow bolt for its homing and high damage properties, but after looking at some other PvPer mages they seem to have spells like crispy critters / lightning / shards on their main clicks |

There are different viable pvp mage builds. One type of build I've seen uses a lot of hit-and-run AoE with a bolt spell thrown in. A high-intel mage's gaseous blast can be pretty deadly, to the point where when your hp is low, they'll run in, hit it, and then run off while your death sneaks up in increments.  |
