#68455 - 07/17/08 08:37 PM

hey im pretty new just started 3 days ago, and i havent bought any skills yet

after some reading i cant decide between using ring of fire as my main aoe spell in the future, or shadow lighting
could anyone give a few benefits/personal opinions on the matter? i plan on making PvE/PvP

Shadow or Ring of Fire? Yes!

If you want to be an AOE mage ,go with both (and Gaseous Blast, too).

If you want to be purely fire or shadow, then pick one or the other.

Either way, have fun!

Ring of fire is more dependable when you're surrounded by a tight group, but for the most part it's simply a matter of preference...and a matter of whether your opponent has high resist for one or the other spell.

Use both skills you have a lot of space in the skill bar, but once you get to the level start using crispy critters, it is a lot better than shadow lightning but keep using RoF
