Amazon for good?

I was just wondering if the Amazon is going to be a permanent fixture, or if she is going to one day vanish like Shivery the Incorrigble Snowman? I understand the reasoning behind her for the release of the Bling Gnome and the connection to Amazon.com, but truthfully, I don't think she should sell Mythic items at all. Nobody ever goes to the other vendors because of her, and the loot refresh timer has all but killed off RB Sally. Can we see her go away, or is she gonna be spouting drag queen lines at us forever? |

I kinda think her voice is sexy.....  ....but beside the point.......Sally is still the better deal... why sit and stare at the Amazon's wares for hours to get 2 or 3 skittles when you can kill stuff repeatedly and maybe find a rainbow Sally...after days of grinding.... I dig her. Always hated Sally and don't think running and resetting instances to find Rainbow Sally or Sam is that much fun, by comparison. Then again, I also don't stand in front of the Amazon for hours at end looking for the perfect rainbow. I'd much rather socialize and kills stuff - if she happens to have something I can use when I click her, that's a bonus! |

Considering Sally doesnt refresh anymore for whatever reason, it's understandable that people don't want to look for her anymore. We went looking for Sam the other night for Jewelry and he no longer asks what class item you want. So there were a LOT of wasted KC's and a handful of people that won't be looking for him anymore. Fighters getting soulbound red rings, rangers getting xoxoxo's and mages getting everything in between. At least with amazon, you can buy an rb and trade it. ** I'm not 100% sure if jewelry sam EVER asked you class like body/wep sam, but everyone that was there thought he did also. |

I don't think he ever asked for class for jewelry. Heck, that's a pretty new feature just for the regular vendors. |

I still run for sally. But I vote to keep the amazon. It's like having a lottery going whenever you stop into town. Check in with the amazon to see if you win, then it's off to the killing fields. |

I'm kinda ticked at the Amazon now:( was on last night and happened to check her before Steele logged of... she had a perfect set of Doc's for Bogey. So I switched quickly and lo and behold not a Doc in sight on any of the instances of Town:( Did someone buy them you say... I say nay!!! Nothing was missing from her inventory...just the Doc's and I actuall found the right instance because I remembered that there were 2 BFG's in the upper left corner with the Doc's in the lower left... can't remember what was in the Doc's place but dangit they was lvl 100's:( Gary -------------------- Bogey - Studly Barbarian Steele - C - 18 and counting We are all one race.... Yeah, but also curious that they haven't just said so. I'm guessing they want to keep options open. Let's speculate some reasons why, and start all kinds of rumors: 1. This is part of an agreement, formal or informal, with Amazon, and should that not work out, they'd need a change. 2. They aren't sure how the Amazon is going to impact the gameplay, and obviously it could need tweaking or removal. 3. They half expect to me sued by any number of the following for unauthorized use of likeness: Dr. Girlfriend, Linda Richman, Lisa Lampanelli, Harvey Fierstein, Kathleen Turner and your mom (heyooohhh!). |

It is quite possible that there is no official decision made yet. Given how DR seems to work, it wouldn't surprise me the least if the devs are watching the community, collecting feedback of all kinds, and eventually will base a decision on that. Nothing will happen to her in the near future but I can't say she will be there forever. But that's not because we're talking about Amazonian here....the dev team is always thinking of new ideas and that sometimes means things have to be re-arranged a bit. So no one really knows either way. BTW we don't always visit the player questions as frequently as we visit the other sections...the player questions section is a place where players can ask questions they think other players can help them with I can always change the name to "Questions for players" if you guys think that makes more sense. Tell ya what i was thinking an idea about creating a rb hunters group like 50 ppl or so evryone go on diffrent servers diffrent townstons and anoynce to us evry rb which is at amazon haha  --------------------  God give me rainbows |

Well, As a spender of over 150 million gold at the amazon I can tell you that the lowest I have gotten was a few lvl 30-33 rb's(4 I think) and for the most part i see more 50+ RB's than anything. Also I would be down with the Amazon treasure hunt but I dont think you would need more than 2 toons per world as W1 has 5 Townstons, Dont know about W2 (not a member yet) W4 has 3-4, and W7 usually has 3, (W8 no clue). |
