3 questions about pvp

Pvp mean player versus player but what does Pve mean? When I point my arrow at someone it says 72% power what does this mean? And I don't understand the rating thing..? thanks |

Well, forgive me for not simply supplying the answer, but think about it: "pvp," you understand. "pve" just exchanges one letter. Player versus e_______. What else could it be? Power % is based on gear. It is calculated by taking the difference between total stat points possible at your lvl and actual stat points. So since rbs generally have the highest stats, they increase your power % by a greater margin. per patch notes: "MatchRating = BaseRating + (PowerRating * 4) + (Level * 2)" so say you have a rating 1500, a power rating of 70%, and you are lvl 50: that would work out to 1880...assuming the power rating is figured as a whole number. (anyone want to verify/correct?) So, 1880 is the number the system would start with when grouping you. It would look for other 1880's. Failing that, the margin would widen up and down at an increasing rate. |

I always figured it was PvP= player versus player and PvE was player versus everthing (else). |
