My Divine Inquisitor
#66683 - 07/09/08 12:20 AM

Tell me what ya'll think:

No one expects the Inquisition!

When I can I'm swapping out 2H Swivel Arm for BSoL; good idea or bad?

I really like this build because it's pretty flexible. A good mix of tank and damage, and I can swap out for ice (or even shadow) spells at the drop of a hat.

Anyone have any advice they can share?

ATM do not put BSOL any where near your char. Its a mana sink for it to work properly you would have to have an enormous amount of INT and you simply dont have it atm. IF you are planning on keeping an AOE skill on your bar like CC,Shadow light, ummm some other bolts/skills I would think that you would want some more mana then what you currently have as well. change out some of your rings and neck pieces to INT/End pieces and you will be doing pretty nice.

Of course thats just me opinion Maybe it will work better for you.

But if what you are using now works then run with it. who are we to judge.

PS really wasnt kidding about the BSOL though only pure mages can really take advantage of that skill. with over 1k mana per cast and then the mobs eat at your mana you will have nothing left to swing do anything with.

unless you have some MAJOR MAJOR mana regen on a wep or something like the gavel maybe. I dont knwo never thought of using bsol with gavel may work :-) just a thought

What about spamming mana pots?

Seems to do the trick at the moment for me. I can keep Crispy Critters going forever. Lol

while that may work it would not be very cost effective to do that you would be spending way more in pots then the dungeon is worth. BSOL even as a lvl 56 mage with a tono Mana almost a full int build and all int gear. If I dont pay close atention i can burn through my mana really quick if getting hit.

I see what you're sying, hadn't actually thought that much into it. For now I'll just put a resist up there, and change based on the mobs I'm fighting.

Thanks for the advice!
