I am creating a PBAoE dual wielding hybrid that uses Gaseous Blast and Ring of Fire. I plan to use Monster Bait for aggro mitigation and Chill Bill as an additional damage dealer. This is a PvE only build. What additional skills should I take and what would be a good attribute levelling scheme since my build will require to be a decent tank and have decent intelligence for my PBAoE spells to have decent damage and so I don't run out of mana?

Point Blank Area of Effect. Basically grab all the enemies you can into melee range and blast them all at once. Basically I want to be able to fire off Ring of Fire and Gaseous Blast whenever they are up instead of waiting until my mana recharges. Also I need to be able to handle large groups of mobs without wasting a ton of health potions.

That's what I thought. Like a Tank Mage. OK. if it was me I would go for endurance attributes. As a mage you can pick up lots of gear that will boost your INT, AGI, and STR if you want. With high hitpoints you can take a beating and not eat your potions then use heal self not others when done. My current Mage I was putting all my stats into INT so I had more mana but if the mobs got through I was toast. So I started to add to end. If you look at my stats you'll see that my gear is difinetly making up on the INT. I also am looking for gear that just does END and INT. I am foregoing STR and AGI because as far as I know these do not effect magic.( someone please correct me if I'm wrong) also you may notice I am leaning towards gear with Fire and Shadow. I really I'm working on a Fire Mage (Pyromancer) Lord McGarath Pyromancer as I already have a Shadow mage (Dark mage) Galaiciton Dark Mage

You may also want to look into adding the passive for more endurance. Balanced out with bookworm you end up with a plus to both int and end for more HP and good mana. I believe it is called gym freak. I use both on my ranger and it nearly doubles my Mana and it also adds HP.

Edit: As for health potions, at your level start doing some farming of Snow Chief. You will make enough money where if you have to short yourself some HP you will not go broke paying for it.

You may even want to make a level 1 character trade him some items to make cash and then let him buy the potions at level 1 prices, since they scale up as you level.
