woot woot got an rb (celestrial sword) from my bling gnome today non member hehe has anyone else gotten a rb yet (before i got the rb i had gotten 5 purples from monday when it was released to the non usa habitants) -------------------- My Idea on Idea runners |

im thinking it goes something like this with each item converted you have like a .01 % chance for an item to drop then the item dropped has like a 5 to 10% chance of being a rb, so if you have say 100 items converted you have like a 1% chance for an item drop then only a 5 to 10% chance that it is a rb, hmm i think that could be a little bit of but not by much baced on what i have seen, have done balzack prolly 50 or so times sence i got my gnome and have gotten 5 purples and 1 rb so that cant be to far off, going to continue trying to figure out the basic average that the gnome has for spitting out an item -------------------- My Idea on Idea runners |

Hey y'all. Sorry for being such a noob but I am a bit cornfuzed. To get items from your BG he has to convert a number of drops in a single "movement" right? If he won't convert what we drop (understandably) how are y'all getting enough stuff together at once for him to give you an item? I have never had more than six or so snacks drop in a battle. |

By gathering a big group and farming the bosses on higher difficulty. So if I'm just playing with myself  I'll only get gold? I had changed to insane before the first post and it didn't make any difference, hence post. However I am only lvl 9 and was testing this in Dew Forest and Algernon Dungeons. Could this be why? I know he won't give great items until a go up a few more levels but I thought I would get at least one low level item sometime during the 5 hour maiden voyage of the box version. |

Well, after you changed the difficulty you need to reset that dungeon or else the mobs stays on your old difficulty, or most of the times they do. good luck I feed mine enough exlax to flood town out with well you get the point. best I pulled of is a 23k drop in balz with my mage so far not a single yellow purp or rb |

I got him crap a t3 late knights cap, and if he didnt crap a rb it wouldve been 120k+ gold tho, 5man insane with me and someone else. |

Maybe it's just me, but in 38 levels now, he's done nothing but turn items to gold...never once has he given birth to anything else. -Mastese |

Do I understand correctly that if I choose to solo most of the time, the chance of my Bling Gnome dropping items is almost nil? If so, that's a bit distressing since not everyone feels comfortable playing in a group. I don't believe the chances of a drop should be dependent upon that. -------------------- Thanks for getting Ana-Lucia off the island! I will not believe Jin is permanently dead. |

I've seen half a dozen purples out of him running rotty with a group -- lv 50, 15k of stuff or so. If the group effect exists, I'd assume it's an indirect element based on the fact that you get more loot for him to consume. I'd guess that if you get enough loot in one place running solo, you'd also get the items. |

ok, kind of an old thread but im posting my question here anyway. I havent had any items drop from my gnome yet, rb or otherwise until today. This morning a friend and I were doing abby on insane and clicking the gnome on the drops averaged about 10-20k. So I was holding the alt button waiting for the gnome poop to see what the amount would be and I swear a kc pooped out. There was already 2 piles of cash on the ground and when he pooped a kc appeared. My friend said that the gnome only drops items, not kc. Anyone else have this happen or can confirm gnome actually drops kc and items? |
