Well they finally announced something and it's still pretty dire but not quite as bad as I had thought.

The word from Bill Roper is that they've laid off most staff but they are still in business. Barely.

Geez, I'd almost forgotten that VE3D was still around, and Apache is still running things. I remember from back in the day when it was Billy "Wicked" Wilson's site called Voodoo Extreme.

Mythos still seems to be up and running but the Beta Server was down a bit. The Overworld server seems fine though. I'm going to assume this will continue until they get everything worked out. Overworld is kinda neat, maybe I'll play it a bit more.

That's him and the Schaeffer's. I wonder who else? Probably Travis Baldree. Basically, management still owns "Flagship" and will have to fight for the IP for both HGL and Mythos.

Thanks again to all of you - and I hope to be seeing all of you online again very, very soon.

So, the servers are up for now, but who knows how long? Mythos, in it's current iteration is basically dead.

	Yup - it'll be interesting to see what happens to both HGL and Mythos now. Hanbitsoft is going to fight Flagship for those IPs. If Hanbitsoft wins, there's going to be some major retooling, probably specific to the Asian market. -------------------- DR widgets! My DR ideas! Official DR Cam /twitch ™

I know Mythos is a competitor of ours and therefore our rivals. Most of the time those rivalries can be fun. But this isn't one of those situations, not by any means. My thoughts go out to all the Mythos players and staff members who were affected by this. I really do hope it all works out in the end.
