What level do mages become good?

Okay after looking at a few builds with http://threeplanetssoftware.com/software/dr I feel like turning back into a mage but then im woundering again.. what levels does a mage become good xD when I say this I mean for example when I was a level 16 mage I kept dieing and yeah I switched to a FIghter and now to a Ranger... so I'm thinking of switching back so my question is in your opinion what levels to mages become good (I'm not saying mages suck so its more like "stronger" I guess) -------------------- "Lure with bait, strike with chaos." Any of the "classes" can be good at any level. I'm only level 30 as a mage but through judicious use of potions, keeping distance as much as I can and AOE when surrounded my surivability is pretty good. -------------------- Red Forman: Do you know why Tiny Tim walked with a crutch? Eric: Because he had a smart mouth? Red Forman: That's right. |

to be honest they get better when they have a few lvls of BSoL under them. Until then go almost full End with just enough intell for spells. You will die alot less |

A few is normaly a number greater then one but less then 5. lol serioulsy though, BSOL has a rank in mid to late 30's somewheres int here possibly even low 40's and that is the rank that it starts getting decent by its rank in the 50s its great. |

I would say BSoL gets good when its damage transfer is at 50%. That would be, I think, at level 55, I think. |

It would appear that level 1 of BSoL is now 50% transfer, with 50% penalty to the damage which goes to mana. (having just reached this on my mage) |

Mages are awesome right from the start. By far the best and most animated of all the characters in the game. |
