"RE-CLASSING?"
#59339 - 05/23/08 07:18 PM

since there is a stat reset and you can buy all character skills... essentially cant you just become a warrior if you are a mage?

is there starting bonuses to different classes or does it not matter at all. whats the point?

A cool thing about this game, is that:

1. Any class can use any skill.
2. You can change classes at any time. (IF you have enough gold)

There are no starting bonuses.

Yeah like the other guy said thats one of the cool things about this game

there isn't really any "classes" just different pools of skills you can pick from and make your own hybrid

And only "starting bonus" maybe would be 1 or 2 skills and pieces of gear only, so you're really free to change almost from the start too.

Being able to manipulate your class title into something awesome, like Ninja.

Honestly, your taking it too seriously. It's just for fun.

Quoted for the truth.

lol I personally believe you shouldn't take DR too seriously I mean just look at the game its a softcore game! But still none of the less no offense to the hardcore players- you high levels people do good things for the community... Townston(I think its spelled this way) hahaha

Still few of the best things of this game is

One... Hybrids, People like me who loves classes and diversity love Hybrids. I've taken this habit up from Ragnarok Online where no two players will be same everyone is different a Priest can be DPS, Tanker, Healer(Yes a Priest can be a DPS and a tanker)

Two... you can go Soft or Hardcore which is a great thing it pleases all players... Me I would go hardcore if I could but I try my best to slow down and read the quests but because I don't have much time to play I just run bosses every time and plan to come back to the softcore aspect once im near the limit of the dungeon...

Three... PvP... The PvP system is very nice... I mean sure I do miss the system of other games like Ragnarok(WoE)or WoW(BG) but this system promotes balance and skills... a skilled level 17 player can beat a level 100 player

Four... The game is jokes I mean COME ON!!! where can you find a funner game than this(The only game IMO that rivals this game in how funny it is for me is "Brave Story" which is for PSP so DR FTW)

Five... well im getting tired of thinking of ideas... ill leave the rest to our community
