I was in the Squeakeasy in Algernon's 1st level (dont know if its the same for everyone?) and after killing everyone in there there was a combination safe in the back, and when I clucked it, it said I didnt have the combination.
Where do you get it? Is it a random drop just like the Squeakeasy passcode?

There is a champion/hero in that room called The Bookkeeper orso, if u kill him he ll drop it, i believe or some one else that dungeon. But evertime i come to that lvl and i kill everyone i get the code, so maybe try again, u should get the code

I get the same problem and I have been in at least 5 squeakeasys by myself and killed all the stuff, still no combo, I only got it one time and that was when I was teamed with a friend. I just assumed it was a random chance, but I don't know. I also couldn't mine fizz rock even tho I had the pick, I thought the new patch might fix it for me but it didn't.

Yes they are called the "Squecky Codes (or pass)". I was wondering why they were so useless (at first).

I have been through three of these now, and havent got it once. I guess I'll keep trying, but thanks for putting my mind at ease at least

Well u should get the code, but u shouldnt worrie to much bout it because its just a kind of chest, not special drop orso. and there are 3 other chests in that room

The passcode for the safe drops from the bookkeeper, but it's not a 100% drop. Haven't tested it on diffferent difficulties but I would imagine if you get more loot, you would naturally have a better chance for it to drop..

Sidenote - You can't mine the fizz rock in Algernon if you're level is too high. I believe it goes by the levels of algernon (Til 20), but i'm not sure if you can still do it til 25, haven't tested this either; Anyways, if your level is too high, you cant mine it! Hope this helped

Yes that did help, I guess I got my level too high to get the fizz rock, and maybe the combos too because I am playing on insane and still not getting the combos. Thanks for the info.
