Very Newbie question
#58804 - 05/18/08 03:37 PM

Hi Guys

Brand new member, only been playing a couple of hours.

Probably a terribly silly question, but Ive scoured the forum, quickstart, and game manuals with no luck.

How do I raise Skill levels??

Im a level 6 mage, with only level 1 firebolt and lightning, can you explain how I raise this from level 1/20 to level 2/20 and so on.

Many thanks for your time, and hi, hopefully youll see a bit of me now Ive joined up:)

Thanks

Mandy.

In Townston, around the Obelisk, you'll find 3 skill-sellers. One for each class.

Simply return to the skill trainer and "train" the skill again. As long as you have the gold and your level is high enough, you can train any skill to the next level.

Very Newbie question #2 [Re: #58833]
#58864 - 05/19/08 08:38 AM

Hi Again,

Guys, what do the Shrines (Endurance....) Do please. I know the glow and compress when clicked, but.....does it do anything?

Are there any other shrines to look for

Thanks again, and again, appologies for the newbie questions.

BTW- Im WhiteFoxX in game and am playing the members only 'shard' atm , (Very low level obv, Dew Valley and Algenon so far, just in Ratties lair atm, and seen first Shrine), say hi if you see me, and pass on any gems of wisdom

Thanks

Mandz:)

Shrines give you a boost to a certain stat there are int, end, str, and agi. the boost i believe is x amount per lvl for 3 min time. If you die durring the boost its gets taken away.

Good luck and Good hunting!!!!

Now, there are also shrines that boost your resistance against a particular element.

Bogey, that upsets me a l'il bit... l'il bit. I might see my way clear to pardoning you in exchange for a small favor, however: You's gotta stop smokin'. Your complexion is shot to hell, my frien'. And eat somethin', yeah? You're all skin and bone... well, bone anyway. That's it... not too much to ask, I don't think. Oh, and kneecap Teclis for me when you see him next, and tell him to give me my money.

What?! How'd I get involved in this? lol... You were just drawing me out weren't you...you KNEW I'D post! Dammit!

Besides ::raises arm slowly and scratches head while looking around:: uh, what money are you talking about? I don't remember any money... Been nice talking, I'll catch you around....maybe..... ::does the one-leg-up-in-the-air-and=arm-bent-over-chest-getting-ready-to-run pose with a giant grin like Jim Carrey in The Mask and then POOF - just a cloud of smoke and the word "ZZZIIIIP!" floating in the air...::
