This is following my previous post about queue waiting time in the pvp queue. Now i understand thta the longer you wait the more your rating boundary expands. I can only be matched with 2 people in less than 1 hour at the moment, wreker and jaysherman, sorry if i missed anyone out thats near my rating but its really annoyed me. I sit there waiting for 1 hour to face wreker or jay absoloutely bored out of my skull. I have to ask people to group up and try to beat me just to get a fight. Furthermore some freinds also complain alot about this extensive waiting queue and i think it really needs to be resolved. Please i suggest make the boundary start at 100 pvp rating difference and each second go down 1 rating and up 1 rating. This will cure my dreaded boredom in the pvp queue.

You could wait until other PvPers catch up to your rating. Alternatively, you can challenge people to duels.

yes but when the leaderboards come i dont want evryone else to catch up because then the leaderboadrs will have no use. And dueling sucks you dont get any rewards, not wins, no rating increase, no kcs..so i am still going to try to stress to the devs it is not on waiting 1 hour for 1 match which gves me 2 rating a win and 3 rating a skunk..pathetic..

Personally, I just play for fun, I don't really care about ratings or rewards (which is rather minor anyway). Besides, if you got a much higher rating that everyone else then it is logical you won't gain much by fighting those whose powers are beneath yours. Perhaps you should fight people of similar power/ratings instead of weaker PvPers. If you never seem to meet anyone, that cannot be helped... blame your time zone. I'm sure the rating system is fair (it is based on tournament-standard ratings), so it won't be broken to suit a single individual's needs.

I do have to agree with Black on this, the wait time is insane.

same here rmg this new rating system stephen has bragged about it almost worse than his damn noob channel....its really pathetic that you have to wait that long bmx and wrek sucks but getting jaysherman every time would drive me nuts

That's why you should lose or quit the deathmatch once in a while to have avg rating.

The rating system, as far as I can tell, is good and fair. The problem is that the PvPer population is too small. Give it time, as the population grows (hopefully with the introduction of the retail box, as Rainger said in another thread), you might find the rating system to be actually good.
