Horrible build. You MUST have Way of the Roo on there. You SHOULD have Gym Freak, or at least Average BMI. Without those you're chow. Since you stated you are hybridising Mage and Fighter, it may be a good idea to use Mental Prowess and/or Bookworm/Coach Potato to boost spell damage and your mana pool, but I don't think it is a must. Your Agility and therefore your Attack Rating is way too low, I don't think you're going to hit many enemies with that. If you don't want to use too much points in Agility use Mad Melee Mastery as well. Light in the Loafers is not that useful except in PvP, or if you are planning on running through monsters a lot (no idea why you use a skillslot to do that though). Same goes for Spirit of the Hare, only reason you'll use it in PvE is if you have a spare slot, which you won't if you are hybridising. Monster Bait is weak without Extra Crispy Monster Bait (IMO). Chill Bill is nice to use, but if you are hybridising I don't think you will be able to afford using three skill slots for him: same for Bait IMO. Personally I won't use Bill or Bait, but that is my personal opinion: using them won't hurt. Ring of Fire is okay for Fighters at low levels, at higher levels it isn't really worth it. Instead, use Cleave and Awesome Cleavage. If however, you're planning to be a Fighter/Mage hybrid, then I suppose it is okay as long as you have the INT to sustain spell damage. In that case, Gaseous Blast may be something for you to think of: low mana cost, high damage AOE. Shadow Word: Smackdown is quite useless in PvE, again it is mainly a PvP spell. Plus, as a Fighter you want to keep your enemies close, not smack them all over the place. |

Ghastly, thats just awful, how did you get so far along building like that, wow. And a lvl 11 amulet, ffs it just makes you bigger, why does everyone want to be big so damn bad good grief. That amulet has got to go, throw it in the bank and put it on when you are just hanging out in townston. Those gloves have got to go to, just because its an rb doesn't mean you should use it until you find a new rb piece, there are blue items at your level that will do better than those. Anyhoo, now for something productive: Update anything 10 levels or lower than you're current level, purps are the best, don't worry so much about getting mythics. Growth items, while they make you kinda sorta look nifty, are still just rbs and should be updated accordingly(if you look at my characters yes I use them, but for the stats not the growth, thats just a bonus). IMO hybrids suck, pure classes are better in every way, more effective, and cheaper to keep healthy, you shouldn't have to spam pots in normal mobs. A few support skills here and there is fine to help wear down a mob before you get to the next monster. At lvl 45, use gaseous blast its not so int dependant, or better would be cleave and awesome cleavage as Nec said. And omg starting fighters have 400 attack rating and you are trying to play with less than 600 at level 45, with a slow weapon to boot. As a fighter you should have about 100-150(or 125) attack rating for every level, a little more can be good, but don't go over board. And unless you can keep getting the same type of gear constantly you really shouldn't invest so much into str, there are other stats that can use it more, the str and def you get from your armor should be sufficient, put more into endurance so you can take a hit. Passives Nec hit almost perfect, MUST MUST MUST have Way of the Roo and Gymfreak, and if you must play the hybrid use mental prowess to boost the mage skills. Some advice(and this goes for any fighter) mana steal is wonderful, even just a little bit, and with the hybrid you are going to exhaust your mana pool quickly. And that weapon, while it would probably be at the bottom up my list of weapons i would ever use, has its uses with this type of build, the int will boost your mage skills and give you a decent mana pool. And once you start actually hitting(and hitting faster with Way of the Roo in place) you will use less health pots. Just try to get gear that has + to damage or slashing damage specifically. |

Thanks, I have some new equipment lined up for the next few levels.(If only i can level up enough so I can wear them.) Also, After hearing what all of you have said, I will no longer be a hybrid. Can someone please give me some pointers on how to improve my stats and skills to become a full on fighter. I am happy to re-spec if it comes down to "You are in so much trouble if you are a fighter". Please, Please help me because I gather from what you are saying I am in serious need of help! -------------------- Navronan - 5 PvP wins - Willing to pair up and fight with/against any time |

For pure fighter, until you get to 100 and have a lot of room to customize and play with gear, play safe and make sure you can hit and can take a hit. Despite what you may believe about fighters, agility and endurance should be your main focus. As I said before at least 100 attack rate per level. The majority of fighter gear that you will find will have strength bonuses, you really don't need to invest anything into base stat bonuses. For a fighter strength, agility and endurance should be close to equal give or take a few points here and there depending on level. Endurance is the most important, second is agil and all in all strength is last(other than intel). Now i'm not saying effective stats always need to be close, there are different situations and I really don't think you want to respec everytime you upgrade. And don't use mage skills, if you want AOE use cleave and/or gaseos blast. Mana steal gear is a plus. Take a look at Trigvar, linked below, mainly pvp build, but still very effective for pve in general. Look at the base stats, i'm only playing Mayah right now to farm for gold to build up stock so i'm not constantly broke. Right now Trig is set up to farm sissirat for low level rbs for my twink so at 56 i don't need anywhere near 5k attack rate(the growth is there right now for looks :P, i'd have 2 strength rings there instead), so I use alot of strength gear to maximize damage output. Reading your new thread(which you shouldn't have made, there was no reason) and looking at your character now, it doesn't seem that you've taken much of our advise, i'm not going to post if its not appreciated, I do know what i'm doing, don't let the level fool you, level means little, you could be talking to a level 1 mule toon and behind that is a seasoned veteran. OR you could be talking to a lvl 100 that plvled there in a few weeks and still knows nothing because of it, creating ubernoobs :P. And for gods sake get rid of that damn Country Fried Amulet and don't use anything more than 10 levels lower than you are, especially rares. If you can't get something else that works thats the exception, but not a good excuse its not like you can do a few farming runs and get a "bandaid" piece until you get something new. If you really want to make a GOOD toon, you are going to have to take time to get good gear, and not just get whatever. Using a lvl 21 RB just because its rb, is a bad bad bad practice and i see it alot, and the lvl 11 is outrageous. I'm not trying to be a jerk or belittle you at all, but common sense has come into play here. I know its tough to get rid of an rb once you get it, i've held on to stuff myself, but I don't use it if I have something better. Heck i've still got a lvl 32 Circus ring on Mayah, but I only use it rarely and just when i'm hanging around town making trades. |

what the f..listen dude i dont meen to be mean but your build sucks..you only just put in gym freak and way of the roo.. May i ask why you are wearing a level 11 neclace? Level 21 gloves? A dark ring around the collar? ? ? are you a mage? no, therefore you dont use that ring.. All the rest of your gear is at least 10 levels below your, dont use rbs for the sake of it, use them when they are at most 5 levels below yours, otherwise you might aswell use Magical stuff(blue labeled). Your Hp..now thats a whole new subject..I am a mage, and i have more hp than you. Respec some stats on endurance, you are at the moment a hybird between all classes. If i were you..i would sell everything you are wearing, except maybe the ned ring, respec half on end, and share rest between agility and strength. NONE on intelect. Ask a high level to help you farm rotgut for about 1hour. Get the right gear then carry on leveling..dude your build is ridiculous at the moment.. -------------------- ´*•.¸(*•.¸;¸;¸.•*´)¸.•*´ _ «::•°-BlackMagicX-°•::» _ "REFUSE TO LOSE" .¸.•*(¸.•*´;¸;`*•.¸)`*•¸. |
