I hv some questions.
1.How does %stun chance works?Is it good?How much do u need to hv to become efective?
2.How much mana steal do i need (im a luda speed) to spam holy roller, soul rend and cleave with improvement?

I was a mage and speced to a fighter today, i hv no clue how to be a fighter,any help would be apreciated.

Yeah, I tried respecing crackersd to fighter also (that's when he was a mage). Turns out, starting a new file is better than respecing.

Answers:
1.The more stun chance you have, the more chance you have of stunning your opponent (kinda obvious). Stunning just knocks you enemy back a little (it stuns your enemy Lol). You don't need a lot to be efective, but like most % bonuses, the more the better.
2.Mana steal depends on how much mana you have. Hopefully u have rbs that give you tons of mana steal. Like the stun bonus, the more the better.

Holy, you would have done better to collect some gear before repsecing, so you would know what you are going to "be".

Personally, I do not use Holy Roller, Cleave and Soul Rend at the same time. If I have a duel wield or one hander and shield I use Soul Rend on left mouse and Roller on right. If I have a good two hander, I use Cleave/ Awesome Cleavage on left and Roller on right. But that is just me.

As a fighter, you need a decent amount of agility to be able to land hits. Then you need good strength to inflict damage when you do hit. You need a nice chunk of endurance to be able to survive toe-to-toe with mobs.

Mana steal is not your only option. I am at level 54 now and have never had enough mana steal to even see a difference. I usually get intelligence boosts from jewelry.

i gota use cleave, is the only aoe that fighters have lol.
and the steal would be used so i wont need to use mana pots.
and how much atk rating do i need at given levels?
and is it the same stun chance for all the mobs?i.e. if i hv 30%stun chance, all the mobs, even a champ/boss can be stuned for the same % as a fodder?arent they more resistant?

obs: if u hv a fast wep these skills will hv a lower cooldown than if u hv a slower 1.
DW fighter can use soul/cleave for a 2.9 cd and roller for a 4.0 cd, so i need more %mana steal so i can use them all the time. if not my mana goes to the garbage.

Umm, ok, then use it. I was merely saying that I do not and have not for 54 levels, most of which has been run on insane, but what do I know...

the only time i've ever noticed either of the %steal working was when I had a +9% mana from the Gavel. never ran our and never even dropped much cause as soon as i used something and hit my mana would fill back up.


I've played with all the warrior skills and found that 99% of the time they are useless in fighting mobs at lvl 100. since I don't pvp I've got no clue on that side of things.

Take a look at my character, Trigvar, linked below. He's mainly built for pvp, but he's still very effective in pve, and I have lots of gear that I can switch out for different situations. If i've still got the scale body, wake, the lost one and circus ring on, aside from those rings, i'm set up to farm low level bosses for low level gear. Thats why its a high str build, I don't need high atk rate and they hardly hit me so i don't need end, high str for max damage in these situations. If i've got any other body on i'll probably be using dual moonglaze.

But on the point, str isn't as important as most would have you beleive, it only adds 1.5 damage per point, and a little defence, and at the lower levels it wont make that much of a difference. You should get plenty of str from the gear you use, i recommend stating about 30% of your stat points into agility and the rest into endurance. You might need a little more, but after you've put on your gear you want about 100 atk rating for every level. And as much health as you can get.

But in general as a rule, you can keep those 3 stats distributed about evenly give or take a few points here and there, more as you level. This way you can stay effective for most situations, keeping different types of gear around with different bonuses and defence rates and what not, for different situations.

For skills, its all up to you and your play style, no one person really does the same thing. I keep a passive in left click all the time, and a weapon skill in right click. And i've got 2 hot keys mapped to easier access places and i put the 2nd and 3rd most used skills there. I don't recommend using cleave with 1h weapons, yes the cool down is shorter but not enough to make a big difference, a fast or normal speed 2 hander will do much better. Soul Rend and Roller are great, and if you have room gaseous blast or ring of fire can be useful to.


And if you're interested in a Ranger build at all, take a look at Mayah, again linked below. Very effective ranger build for pve, full end stats was left over from pvping, i've since then decided to grind her to 100 and trig will be my main pvp toon. But the full end stats and critical gear make for a good grinding build, I don't use a lot of pots unless I reall get mobed and Bill dies. And with alternative gear(which has shrunk because i needed gold for a new shoulder piece to replace the lvl 40 i'm stuck with at lvl 54 lol) I can get up to 25K health if I need to, without taking out too much damage capabilities.

Oh so happy i am, traded some low lvl member rainbows for a nonmember THE GAVEL, it's level 31 but it helps for his mana steal. A miserable(is that right) percentage(%5) but it helps as i hv a 298 mana pool(freakin'LOL) and it just go up and down every time i hit. But idk about my atk rating, is it too much? too low?

Yeah the attack rating is a bit high for your level, getting into the over kill range where it no longer matters anymore. I suggest taking 30-40 of what you have in agil and putting them into end. Also replace that serpentine hoop ring with an actual fighter ring, since you should be putting more into your endurance, i suggest using a str ring. Maybe something with bonus to DPS, def, or total mana.

The gavel with its +5% mana steal is just fine, you shouldn't ever really need more than that, even with just the +2% I get from my gloves is usually enough to keep me afloat. Other than that, looking pretty good.

I promised I'd come on here and look at your build; I'm no fighter, but if you need help replacing some of that gear like people here have suggested, we could probably get some guildies together and farm with you for a bit and get you twinked out with at least some purple fighter items.
