I was looking at the patch notes and it said that "every non mem below lvl15 was going to be put in a dif world chat. Since crackerst is a non mem and is lvl12, he would be put into noob central. Could there be an exeption of non mems lvl15 below with 100+ not be put into noob central? Preciate it.

Become a member.

His real concern is that crackers is a pvp character and he doesn't want to level him, thereby making him a permanent member of the n00b channel.

As far as I'm concerned, leaving the n00b channel is a privilege granted either by being a member or being leveled past level 15.

That being said, I would like it if those under level 15 and not a member could read /w, just not chat in it.

lol, now that would be a tease wouldn't it ripper? We'd get members just by "chat-envy".

I'll think about becoming a mem once I find some lvl10-12 rbs for mem.

Edit: World chat would be better for crackerst to ommunicate with other PvPers if crackerst is a non mem.

I see what you're saying here with don't having to be on noob-channel when you have a lvl 100 already, but as some of the other said before me: Leveling is so fast so it would just be a nice time-out from all chat-deaths.

And to be honest, I think most will join all channels so we'll be on /n too.

Well anyway, I got Stephen to allow non mems < lvl 15 with 100 PvP wins to be able to do world chat. Crackerst currently has 87 wins .

So only twinks can do it? Personally, I think the "ability to see World Chat" should simply apply to anyone who has another character on the same account that is level 15+.

That makes sense. But cracckersd and crackerst aren't on the same account.

And remember, noob central is only for non mems.

New players generally don't become members until they get to know the game anyway, so whether it is for members or non-members is slightly irrelevant.
