Best Leveling Ways, Builds and Classes?
#55479 - 04/21/08 04:07 PM |
I have 3 questions to help me level. What is the overall best class in your opinion for fast leveling? What is the overall beset Build For that class? What is the best way to level with that build/class or tips on leveling? Example: Class: Mage Build: All endurance and stamina 2 each. Tip: Get all the Monsters in the Dungeon after you and AOE it like hell. I mean this isnt really what i would do but its an example :P. Thanks in advance for your help! |

There is no true best class in this game I will state my opinions on what classes excell at what areas. Your question was stated Specifaicaly for lvling. Class: Mage (Just seem to lvl faster then most others hardly any down time and not a whole lot of potions used.) Build: This is really all up to you what type of spells do you prefer vs what type will the mobs resist. As far as stats go. all points into Int and most from gear into Int. You do need some Endurance but with BSoL you wont need much one or two good rings all end. Or like a Chest with all End should be enough for you to mass murder everything. Tip: Find an area that has lots of mobs that dont resist your spells. Just keep firing away most mobs will not reach you do the the speed and Damage of your attack. If you are getting beat on alot pull out Monster Bait or Chill bill and let him take the hits for you. This build Fails speed wise when it comes to Bosses they are much much harder to kill, then the trash mobs. Where as a Fighter build Excells greatly at killing Bosses but can get slowed down doing the mobs getting to the Bosses. Rangers are overall a Very good class to play they can take a decent hit and also deals a great amount of damage. Both durring Fodder and Boss Encounters. Like I stated this is just my opinion all classes are great to play and I have a char of each. I love all of them the same. -------------------- Come See the Dark side Dark Wanderers A Dungeon Runners Posse We Have Cookies!!! |

I can't give you a differing point of view, because I think Dark is right on the money. For leveling, an AoE mage is fastest. The speed difference, though, is more evident in the long term. If you are consistent (spending most of your time leveling as opposed to farming), you will begin to notice yourself leveling past your fighter and ranger counterparts. On the other hand, if you zoom through to lvl 100, you might later wish you had taken your time. |

Well that.... and that there is no such thing as "the best" or everyone would just have the same ranger guy, the same fighter guy, and the same mage guy all running around with the same gear and build. And then we'd all be playing a really cool looking version of "Gauntlet." ![]() -------------------- Peace and chicken grease.... Watch those flames, they might burn you too! TTFN. Cory ![]() |

Quote: Figthers start up the fastest, but mages are probably faster in later levels. Quote: For the leveling fighter, go with having END and AGI about 75% of your STR. For the mage, just go 4 INT and 1 END. It's not until later levels you should start to look at what bonus your gear give you and respec to that. I go with mage for fast lvling, As for best class, It all depends on the player and he or she uses skills and stats. -------------------- The Best Of The Best, But Even Better When Playing With The Rest |
