About the Map Build...
#55185 - 04/19/08 06:42 AM

Well i really do apreciate the map that joe B 1978 made but i need to know, is there a printable version? I printed it off the net and it only printed 1 page. I put it on paint and it printed everything in segments. Is there a way i can print out the whole thing w/o a problem like a printer Version or a print friendly version? Thanks.

I had the same issue. A friend of mine cropped it manually and got it to 6 pages. There might be an easy way of converting it to PDF which would paginate it for you, but I haven't looked into it since I already have a printed copy.

You could try out something like Go2PDF or Picture to PDF and see if it converts into something printable?

I know some have a problem with the format and printing. The best way to print it is save the .png file to your computer and open it in Paint or similar program.

If using Paint go to File --> Page Setup. Under Scaling there is an option there to "Fit To". For the current map I usually reccomend printing it on a 1 X 5 or 1 X 6. It used to fit on 4 but with the new map the writing is to small on 4 pages to easily read the smallest of type. On 5 or 6 pages it is an easier read.

I will look into making it in a .pdf for the next build or a more printer friendly version. I usually only put these out when a new dungeon is added or for major overhauls of the side dungeons.

Love Joe's Map. However, if you go to the Dungeon Runners Wiki http://www.thetownstons.com, I worked really hard to get the dungeon pages arranged so the map and dungeon outline for each dungeon would print out in the first page when you hit print. I think it will work on most systems and printers.

If you are directing people to the map, you might want to change your link.
