Now this is my first character i'm pushing up here, and well there is still alot about the game I'm trying to learn.

The way my wife and I play is we do the quests, because it's a means to an ends. Meaning we feel we are doing something for a reason instead of senselessly slaughtering all those cute whisker people things.

Anyway, as we begin to approach the end of each batch of dungeons, we always get a quest to kill the "final boss" of a series of dungeons. However, at level 28, we have not yet found or been given a quest to kill the Widow Maker, are we just not level enough yet? We did do some quick runs last night to make 2 levels, even upped the difficultly to keep it interesting.

I keep thinking we have progressed past our level, but that really hasn't been the case yet.

Any info on this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Im starting to think that there is no Kill Widow Quest. I just checked on Townstons for it and they didnt have it either. Last night while playing someone asked the same question the basic response was go talk to commander he should have it. But that because he always gives the Kill XXX quest. If hope someone can prove me wrong but till then Im going with there is now Quest to kill that big Spider.

I've had trouble with those, too, over the last few days. I also never seem to get the quest to destroy the trojan barrel.

We distroyed the barrel and have done several quests in this dungeon series more than once (we got seriously schooled by Widow Maker, so we are trying to get a few levels).

from my experience there is no quest to kill widow...or rotgut... or abby... or shadow queen...there is one or two for ratty but thats 75+

For Ratty its better than 1 or 2 ... it is repeatable. Gives you King Coins every time to kill him.

The only quests with the word Barrel(s), all I know is the "Supply 'N Destroy" quest given by Audrey at level 20. (Destroy 30 Barrels O' Fizz and the Vergrim's Vibration Fizzmaster).

As for killing Widow Maker, the only quests I find is given at level 34 by Sir Tified Luhny (Widower's level 5) called "Widower's nest: Pot Luck II" wich tells you to collect Widow Maker's Spider legs.
At level 35 he gives you "The Widower's Nest Gopher"-quest wich wants you to kill the P.M.T.A.C.C.C Leader in a dungeon of Level 7 in Widower's Nest.

I searched all quests for the words "smash", "source" and "trojan" and didn't come up with anything so I guess it's removed from the game.

I did this quest just the other day it's got multiple objectives.

You have to kill some "poisoned rattlings", find the source, and destroy the source.

Some of the quests ... this is one of them if I remember correctly ... you may not have offered to you if you have not completed a prior quests. Some of them seem to be in strings. I know on SirOldBottom I did not get some of the quests but they got them again on another alt. I also think you level plays into it. So if you sit and grind on sissy for 10 levels as some people do you arent going to get some of the quests strings open to you. That is speculation from my observations.

In general, to get the kill x boss quests there are others you have to complete, for sissi it was the rattle family stuff. I never did get a quest to kill widow maker though, and i have no plans on going back. I never did frumps quests. And i've dont most of the mailaise quests.

That being said Nixxa, yes there are quests to kill rotty and abby, i did abby just last night on my alt. But you do have to do other quests(which you get from one of the guys in embercore portal) to get them.

I know which trojan barrel thing he's talking about, i remember doing it with both of my toons, its not removed, its a stringed/multi part quest.

My advise is check your quest log and make sure to complete any unfinished quests as they may lead to another part. Make sure to do the "audit x dungeon" stuff and exploring quest, getting papers from monsters and exploring all the offshoot dungeons. Check the townstons for locations for any npcs in dungeon(i can only remember the dude on level 1,2 or 3, i can't remember exactly which one, but i remember being annoyed to go after him when i'd lost my wp.
