Hey all,

I have noticed that whenever I'm playing a single
player game that I get disconnected from the server
on a regular basis. However, when I play along as
part of a group it never happens. Is this part of
the games system because it's geared towards group
play rather than single player? I find it rather
annoying and interesting that it only happens when
I play solo. Any comments?

Nope. The opposite actually. I can play for hours solo without a disconnect and get disconnected several times while trying to kill a boss with a group.

I think it's just timing.

Try opening the ports on your router, get an adware scanner such as adaware, and scan for virus'.
