I was getting em right away, got like 10 in bank for each of my char.

But i did notice i didn't always get them, seems like i had to wait for the big fight before i started to get em, and now it's off and on. Keep killing that's all i can say.

They are yellow drops. I probably get one or two farming rotty in a couple of hours. Some people are just more lucky with them I guess, as some people I know have 20 in the bank and they are selling the rest, lol. They make a distinct sound when they drop.

To use it, you just right click it in your inventory and it pops a portal like a wp scroll, but red, and you can then go back to that portal forever until you pop another compass (i.e. great for saving one boss no matter where you go, etc).

Yes, they are getting to be fairly regular and if I get more than one in my inventory I drop them in town for anybody.

You can only have one active at a time, so think before you use it whether you want to replace the previous one.

And they cannot be used in HDoL. *pouts* I found that out the hard way this morning...

*Yawn* Pity. Well, you could use your Compass on your other Special Place and keep your "Last Portal" tuned to HDoL.

I do hope that will work. I cannot stand having to run level one everytime I go in. My other special place? My mommy once told me not to do that, or I may go blind.

Your mommy was lying to you. I say help yourself...in moderation, of course.

Take the word "Newb", alter it to "Noob" to make it sound more condescending, then degrade it to "Nub" for the sake of simplicity (as well as to add a whole new dimension of insult). Then, add the suffix "Cake" as in, "Piece of Cake", which subtly suggests to the victim "Piece of Crap"; as well as implying the flabbiness and overall inferiority of the victim. There you have it: a Nubcake.

*laughs* All right, if there is not an internet insult dictionary, there needs to be one...
